We are all brought up to believe that the law is inherently right. Who ever said this was the case? The fact is the law is not inherently right, and another fact is, there is no one "law", so the words "the law" are a reference to nothing. Put simply, many laws get made by corrupt politicians who are given money by corrupt lobbyists, and they're all often times breaking the law themselves. It all cancels out in the end to produce a crap system.

Pres. Carter was not responsible for S.Arabia, Iran and the OPEC countries flexing their muscles.....

All over the world, there was a fuel crisis, not just in the good ole USA.... CARTER was not responsible... so get over it....

Bush , however, is responsible for 1 million deaths globally, Gas Prices at nearly 3.5 Dollars per gallon, The highest trade deficit in living history, the Fed Reserves virtually mortgaged to the Chinese and universally hatred of Americans....
NOW , WHICH IS WORSE????????????????

After all if we outlaw grenades then only criminals will carry grenades. Grenades are an armament and the second amendment guarantees our right to own them. If school teachers were armed with grenades there would be no school grenading! Sure they might go off accidentally sometimes and people could use them inappropriately when they're under duress to commit suicide or kill family members but it's our constitutional right! Should we all write our congressman and demand grenades?

And what about nukes? Shouldn't we be allowed to have nukes? And dirty bombs? and ICBMs? And rocket launchers?

A free market is a market where the price of an item is arranged by the mutual consent of sellers and buyers, with the supply and demand of that item not being regulated by a government (see supply and demand); the opposite is a controlled market, where supply and price are set by a government.

Is the US a Free Market Economy????

I often read here the Cons lambasting Pres. Carter.... well when you consider the Carter years vs the Bush years... you realize how grateful you were to be part of the larger American family....

unlike today when so many Americans abroad claim Canadian parentage.

Wife (Chinese) went to a bank with husband who deposited about $ 4000 of travelers checks that were not used from a trip to China. The total in the account was then about $ 7000. At home she asks husband to send $ 10,000 to her family in China ( he had other accounts totalying about $35000) He refuses, then next day she haas him falsely arrested for assault. While he was in jail ( about 4 days ) she went to the bank and withdrew the entire checking account ( about $7000 ) it was a joint account but she never contributed any money into it, she was not working, and tried to take $ 40, 000 from a home equity line of credit but could not. She also used 2 credit cards from his account that he gave her to charge over $ 1000 worth of clothes, restaurant etc.
Would a jury consider what she has done in any trial for assault?

The terrorists in Iraq are cowards, they run and mix with other innocent civilians to hide. I dont think the answer is to level the country. But how else are we gonna do it. Do you think our lives are worth their freedoms? What happens when another terrorist attack IS successfull, there is no one left to attack. Where are our allies at, should we start asking for help?

BAGHDAD -- Gunmen in police uniforms and driving vehicles used by security forces kidnapped five Britons from an Iraqi Finance Ministry office Tuesday, and a senior Iraqi official said the radical Shiite Mahdi Army militia was suspected.

Compounding the fresh evidence of chaos in Iraq, the U.S. military announced that a total of *10 American soldiers* were killed in roadside bombings and a helicopter crash on Memorial Day, making May _ at 117 fatalities _ the third deadliest month of the war. The war supporters say they are happy about the war. "We shall fight for at least 30 more years to get it right" a war supporter says.

American's only please. I'm searching for a quest to unite us, something we can all agree on. Please leave out disrecpectful comments and bite your tounge. Don't talk about Republicans or Democrats, they are both the problem. Is it politics in general? Have politicians gone to crazy and currupt? IF so, how will we fix it ASAP!

By scary i mean. We can't enforce our own laws (border security) We can't win a war in Iraq, the people are cowards, they mix with average citizens. Is the answer to just level the whole country? I dont think so.. but how else? Global warming is WAYYY out of control. It's problem after problem. Should we just bring every citizen back home and "turtle up" our deffence? Politicians say that will leave us helpless? When are we all gonna stop caring about who won American Idle and start DEMANDING our future lives be guaranteed? I dont think you guys are getting it... One single HUGE problem (natural, man-made, whatever), and that's it!!!

It's a 'no brainer' that the new Democratic President will have to bring the troops home and try and save the integrity of the US as soon as they take office... from election to inauguration is 2 months.... Will it take that long for the troops to pack up?
