Obviously you didn't live through the Carter years when there was double digit inflation, double digit interest rates, and double digit unemployment.
Couple that with the FACT that Carter did NOTHING TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS.
Energy shortages?
Carter sat in front of a roaring fire in his fireplace wearing a sweater and RECOMMENDED WE ALL DO THE SAME, he wanted us to accept our fate and DO NOTHING JUST LIKE HIM!!!!!
Then when our diplomatic core in Iran was taken hostage and our embassy was invaded, Carter did NOTHING!
If you did live then, there would be NO doubt in your mind that he was the WORST President EVER.
Everyone felt the same. Just check out the margin by which he LOST his bid for a second term.

Absolutely not. Carter will go down as the worst President in history, who would want to associate themselves with that. As for Americans claiming Canadian parentage abroad, that is a myth.

we could see. under former president Jimmy "Hamas isn't a terrorist team" Carter we had the U.S. Embassy taken over and he did not something. under him we has over 21% costs of pastime, over 10% unemployment costs, and over 10% inflation. under former president George Bush we've been related and he took action against the terrorist. we don't have unemployment or inflation over 8% whilst he grow to be president and costs of pastime are approximately 7.5%. President Bush did not substitute his stance while it got here to the terrorist yet somewhat stored attempting to get them. under sort president Carter he did not something to truly loose the hostages, one attempt that each and every person knew could fail, for 444 days. President Carter did not get re elected because of the failed plans he had yet former president Bush grow to be re elected. I lived throughout the time of the failed circumstances of former president Carter and between the two i visit take now former president Bush any day of the twelve months!

Ah, the good ol' days of the peanut farmer! When I look up the definition of imbecile in the dictionary, Jimmy's face should be there. He was totally worthless with his 5 mile gas lines and his simpering looks. And those damned commercials he runs now would make anybody want to jump through a window.

As a non-American perhaps you don't remember Carter was a disaster as a President. Perhaps his malaise speech was never broadcast in your country... look it up, you'll realize that the US economy is the strongest ever under Bush.
But you voted for Chavez, you should be happy you got what you asked for.

NO! I appreciate Clinton over Carter. I think Clinton was at best useless. Carter was/is dangerous.

You Carter bashers are amazing, you don't what you are talking about, at least when it comes to the economy.
Carter inherited a terrible economy from Gerald Ford, with his Whip Inflation Now campaign (exactly what our economy didn't need at the time). We had high unemployment, double digit interest rates and inflation the day Carter took office. The Saudi Oil Embargo cut off our gasoline supply which beat us up bad with our gigantic gas guzzlers like we had back then. I don't think Carter was running the big three auto makers before he took office.
At least Carter has integrity, nothing at all like Bush. Carter never started an illegal war, Carter didn't quadruple our national debt, and Carter could put a coherent sentence together without sounding like the idiot Bush does every time he speaks.

Carter made America appear weak to the hostile nations of the world, and that is what Bush is afraid will happen if he pulls out of Iraq.
So, I would answer no to your question.

I will not insult or otherwise act seditiously with Former President Carter. He has my respect.
His words, however, were seditious, and he has broken with Presidential tradition by criticizing a standing President (Former President Clinton broke the tradition, first).
It's contemptible, regardless of which President did better.
