Someone from the Travel Channel found a clip of mine on YouTube that they want to use for a show. I was like "what the heck, sure." They emailed me a release, but it has a line for my Social Security Number, which they have no need for.

Look at what has happend at virgina tech. Look at the newspaper each and every day and read the headlines of the innocent victims of gun violence. I read the storys of assault weapons being used againt police, and i read storys of people being killed by guns bought at gun fairs and i cant understand it. What will it take for the federal government to do something. Why are they opposed to a ban on assault weapons? Why must we live in fear that the criminal element in our society has the right to bear arms just as much as those in the NRA who raise their rights above our rights to live without gunfire in your streets in our homes...at our schools? What must it take for america to wake up!!!! Our gun loving ways must end. This is not a society any longer who has the right to bear arms like our forefathers with a musket and a dream of freedom. How, as people, can we make our failed government hear us to take the guns, assault weapons and the fear we live in our of our lives?

The killer was able to go to to four class room slaughtering 32 without an attempt to save their lives. Are we now conditioned to let government handle all our problems?

What if you were living in a country occupied by the Nazis in WWII (for example)?
The resistance fighters then saw themselves as freedom fighters, not terrorists.

Let's face it; they are not trained as a security force. It is has to be up to the individual. I am glad I can call 911 and wait 10 minutes for the police; in the mean time my kids and I have been killed.

It should be illegal for any entity to forbid the carrying of guns on their property.

Gun control is another means for the liberals to force us to rely on their version of the state.

That really is the million dollar question for me in the gun debate: Does the ease of obtaining firearms in this country result in more lives saved or more lives lost? From what I've seen over the years, the number of gun deaths seem to far out-number gun "saves." And the stat that only 46 gun deaths occured in all of Britain (which has super tough gun laws) last year as opposed to 579 deaths in New York city alone certainly is eye opening. What's your take on this contentious issue?

This question stems from court's recent stance on various issues:

1. Sealing in Delhi
2. Demolition in Delhi.
3. Admissions in nursery.

With the increased interference of the court, aren't we moving towards judicracy rather than democracy

I am not for banning legal firearms, but illegal firearms are far to available to anyone who wants them. We need more action at the federal and state level, you sell a gun illegally, you lose your right to own a gun! You smuggle firearms illegally, you spend at least a decade behind bars!

Lets stop this NRA funded nonsense of putting more guns on the streets to make everyone "safer" more guns on the streets will only cause more gun violence. Lets regulate firearms more effectively.

Does anyone find it interesting that we don't know much about this shooter - other than he was an "asian" student? Give me your opinions about why that may be the case. Does anyone remember a shooting at a mall in Utah and recall "why" there was little discussion at a national level as to background and motive of the assailant? Do you find any similarities? Explain.

WASHINGTON - Republican presidential hopeful John McCain (news, bio, voting record) is promising to veto bills that contain so-called pork barrel projects, balance the federal budget and work to fix Social Security and Medicare if elected.
"'No' is always the right answer to wasteful spending," the Arizona senator says in a speech he is to give Monday in Memphis, Tenn., according to excerpts from his campaign.

I just came back from Hawaii. Interested in history, I can't figure out, how a couple of lame duck planes from air carriers 2 hours flight away could even come close to the island without being seen. The gargantuam amount of firepower in that harbor on that day, shoud have blown most of this planes to dust, before they where albe to do damage. any enlighthening there? Thanks!
