Bush wants to create a position of “War Czar” (whatever that means). So far, three 4 Star Generals have turned down the job. Doesn’t this demonstrate that senior, highly decorated career soldiers have no confidence in this administration?

If anything happens to Harry you will know exactly who Blair works for in my opinion, not British interests.

Do you think that the reason America is unable to solve any of its greatest problems today is because of the lack of citizen participation? Did those of us who are in our 20's,30's and 40's grew up with to much of a "silver spoon" so that we are unable or unwilling to stand up to our govt. on issues that acctually matter(the war, health care, enviroment, employment).... We missed out on the greatest debates and changes in our countries recent history ie. civil rights, womens lib, vietnam.. because we were either children or unborn.... so has the lack of confrontation with our govt through out our lives left us stagnent in the way we deal with it? thoughts?

KABUL, Afghanistan - A U.S. Marine unit broke international humanitarian law by using excessive force during a shooting spree last month that left 12 people dead.

The troops fired indiscriminately at pedestrians, people in cars, public buses and taxis in six different locations along a 10-mile stretch of road in Nangarhar province after an explosives-rigged minivan crashed into their convoy on March 4, according to the report by Afghanistan's Independent Human Rights Commission. The USA military said they did it for freedom and the fighting was the American way. The Marines stated
the American people were behind them 100 per cent. This is the way to reach hearts and minds. Just look at Vietnam.

They want open conversations with terrorists. How funny is that? They are called terrorists for a reason. They believe Iran has nothing but good intentions with their nuclear program and just want to cut and run from Iraq. Iraq has been a mistake, their is no doubt about that. However, liberals are so far left these days that you can't have a civilized conversation? Mention the word George or W or Bush and watch them squirm. Everything is his fault according to lefties. Gas prices, the high price of milk, Cubs inability to win the World Series, global warming, and earthquakes are his fault. However, he is not given credit for the low unemployment rate, the stock market is higher that the artificial boom in Clinton's days, and no terrorists attack since 9/11. Liberals assign blame but won't give credit. Why is that?

The latest news from Afghanistan is that of US marines going on a shooting rampage killing women and children after being attacked by a suicide bomber. Only one US marine was injured in the attack! I never hear of the British, the Canadians, or the Dutch committing any atrocities, yet the US Marines are becoming infamous! Remember Kilo company, Haditha, and Ishaqi?

I remember the film "Full Metal Jacket" by Stanley Kubrick. Maybe their "born to kill" mentality isn't suited to the job of protecting civilians!

Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hi, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya & Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hi. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His
father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two yrs in a Catholic school. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school." Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear
that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, a Jakarta. Wah! abism is the radical teaching that is followed
by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Know the facts.

. Tens of thousands of Iraqi military men were killed when the US dropped bombs on them as they attempted to escape Kuwait near the end of the Persian Gulf War under Bush, Sr. .They were ridiing in military vehicles/trucks/tanks,etc. which lined the desert leading away from Kuwait. Thousands of them.
Fast forward then, to Operation Iraqi Freedom under Bush., Jr.
Many lies being told.
The 'embeds' rode with US troops across that 527 mile desert leading from Kuwait to Baghdad.
Along the way there were firefights, Mostly small ones.

The "war" was on. The US also 'bombed" countless "enemy" war machines. Or so we were told.
But.
Thousands of Iraqi tanks/trucks/etc. were left where they were bombed along that desert. Even after all of these years. (What's left of them, that is.)
So when the U.S, reported that they had 'taken out' thousands of fighters...?
No. They RE-bombed those same vehicles that they had bombed during the Persian Gulf War.
And there was nobody inside them

Does this chart show that the top 50% pay all the taxes or does it show that the incomes of the bottom 50% went off the cliff into the financial abyss? Thats half the population! With not enough income to pay taxes? That's preposterous!
How can they eat?
Would making the tax cuts permanent solve this problem?
