Someone told me that there was a time limit of 3 years if you wanted to bring a civil suite against an organisation, someone else said said it was 7 years.
Does anyone know what the proper time limit is.
Thanks in advance.

If the police see you speeding and you don't pull over. Here make it more easier:
A police trys to pull you over for speeding. You don't pull over and keep drving normally [e.g stopping at red lights and stop signs].
Whats the punishmet?

I got my bag of clothes that I bought stolen when I was in Chicago a while back. I have all the evidence, and the person responsible has been appropriately punished. I now want to file a lawsuit against the City of Chicago for promoting the themselves as "safe and beautful" on their tourist website (owned by the city government).

Can I possibly do that?

Wouldn't it be more reasonable for them to increase funding for our BRAVE soldiers? That way they can sit back on the side lines and watch them fight for our freedom.

Those who choose not to serve their country are pathetic human beings that do not deserve the freedoms for which others have paid the ultimate price. Go ahead and try to convince yourselves that this is not YOUR war, that you will not be treated fairly upon return, blah...blah...blah.... these are all excuses that clearly separate men from boys. Men serve their country - period.

So why do people still use Hitler as an example of pure evil when his position as most evil person of the last century has clearly been taken by thousands of willing "Doctors"?

He's overweight and has angina. He was told by paramedics not to drive. I'm really worried, as he gives lifts to my mum and daughter in the car. His insurance must surely be invalid.

What is the legal position now? And what if he kills or injures himself and/or others?

I'm really worried about this!

Have you noticed the excuses for not serving the country? If a President orders war - should the country stand behind him and serve?

Do I just say, "Hey this guy raped me" and he goes to jail, or does there have to be some real proof like evidence of a struggle, or is DNA evidence enough? If they just go by DNA, how do courts decide between rape and consensual sex? If it's a case of his word against her's, does it even go to court or does the woman's testimony mean more than evidence or lack thereof? Do men get convicted just due to a good story or is there some sort of minimum requirement for evidence?
