In the past, liberals were dedicated to leveling the playing field so all people had equal opportunity to succeed. They fought and won battles against racism, sexist bias, robber barons, and ignorance. The ideal was to give each person the means to rise up out of poverty through their own efforts.
The notion supported by many people who call themselves liberals today is far from the selfless ideals of liberals in the past. Many so-called liberals today believe simply because they pay taxes they should get free services from the government. The idea of government providing for basic needs is socialism. The idea that the government needs to insure that people are educated and provided skills to succeed is liberalism.
The idea that the average American can earn enough money to buy the services they need is liberalism. The idea that theses services should be provided by the government is socialism.
Liberalism is a noble concept. Socialism is a selfish concept, in my opinion.

Just this morning, 66 more Iraqis were killed in bomb attacks.
For those who still don't get it, terrorism in Iraq is like a water balloon.....squeeze it on one end, and it just gets bigger on the other. Two months into the surge, and it's business as usual for the bombers.
There is no possible triumph in Iraq and very little hope left.
This is the pandora's box that Bush/Cheney opened. And now, it can't be closed.
We can't save the Iraqis, but we can save our troops.....by getting them out.....just like we did during Vietnam.
It's a pity politicians don't study history.

1. The original theory holds no ground what so ever. All the first ape human bones were a hoax!
http://www.evolutiondeceit.com/chapter9.php

2. The missing link to proving humans were apes is missing still today!
http://www.evolutiondeceit.com/chapter10.php

3. The variations in human skulls does not mean that those skulls evolved from apes. All these classifications are really only variations and unique races in the human family. The difference between them is no greater than the difference between an Inuit and an African or a pygmy and a European.

4. Scientist are confused as to what is true and what isn’t:
Most of the participants at the Senckenberg conference got drawn into a flaming debate over the taxonomic status of Homo erectus started by Milford Wolpoff of the University of Michigan, Alan Thorne of the University of Canberra and their colleagues. They argued forcefully that Homo erectus had no validity as a species and should be eliminated altogether. All members of the genus Homo, from about 2 million years ago to the present, were one highly variable, widely spread species, Homo sapiens, with no natural breaks or subdivisions. The subject of the conference, Homo erectus didn't exist.

5. I have supplied you with evidence that blows Evilution out of the water. It’s taken on faith, the proof is not solid, and questions are not answered. Now lets consider the REAL truth. God created us. I will give just one example. Our eyes. Here is what the founding father of EVILUTION had to say about the human eye. DARWIN: “To suppose that the eye, with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree.”

In nations where we are constantly bombarded by the words "freedom" and "democracy" (even in those which are Republics) is the mandatory slavery law known as conscription contrary to our creed?

For instance if a nation says that it runs off of the will of the people, would it then make sense to say that if persons are not willing to volunteer in a specific military campaign that they, they people have spoken?

If the power to drag individuals into war, with or without their consent lays solely in the hands of politicians - what is the difference between our forms of state and that of dictatorships and other totalitarian systems?

In reality it would seem that the people have very little input into what actually goes on in terms of law, and indeed policy.

So if we had monarchy as opposed to "democracy" for instance.. It would not even be a big change.

Before Bushes, CIA was intruging everywhere and American soldiers weren't much involved in the dirty business of non-American interests. But now they are dying in Iraq. All because of the new American Foreign Policy of Preemptive Strike which seems to be a policy of non - American capital owners who want immediate results and who use American government and American army for its own interest..

Nov. of 2005, Reid practically shut down the Senate asking where is Part II report. Republicans said two weeks... it is still not done. It was to investigate if intelligence was used properly that took us into Iraq. Such an important item, especially if we were misled into an unnecessary war. Could there be any higher crime? How can we get Congress to investigate this and provide the Part II report?
