After she voted for a war in Iraq, and now seems to imply she was misled, how can anyone vote for someone who could be fooled by Bush? If Bush is as dumb as most liberals want to imply, why vote for someone who can be fooled by him into sending kids to war?

Congressional pay seems to exceed long term inflationary rates...

Who would like to see the Federally mandated minimum wage directly "locked" to Congressional pay [as a percentage point] so that every time congress wants extra compensation they will not forget the working persons pay?

Any takers?

I am tired of the paddycake squad in the UK: your PM advised Bush (don't you remember?) after 9/11 to re-order the world because the 'pieces are in flux'. That means, you need to turn on your beloved Labour Party (yes the ones who bribe you with state benefits) to change the policy. But because you are already fitted up by the Party, you will just whinge. Pathetic.

I know this is a political generalization but it's a strange and funny observation.

People who support abortion believe in killing people who don't yet exist. People who support the death penalty believe in killing people who behave in an unacceptable manner. How can you support one and not the other? How can one human be considered a person of value and the other not?

It's kind of crazy if you think about it. Political allegiances are retarded. (I'm particularly referring to the party platforms in the United States.)

Just a few points:
1. Those most likely to get an abortion are single mothers and those below the poverty line
2. Children raised in single parent households, and those raised in conditions of poverty are much more likely to commit crime.

Therefore doesn't abortion have a chance of actually lowering our crime rate? And in fact if we want lower crime rates, what better way to do it than to rid our society of those most likely to end up in our prisons before they even have the chance to commit their first crime?
