Your leaps of logic are astounding.

That was a pretty incorrect analogy.

First accidental gun deaths are not the only ways guns are used to kill people

I see you forgot to add murders and other gun related deaths...which would raise the statistics significantly
There were over 22,000 gun deaths last year and the 80,000,000 is registered guns not gun owners...some people own more than 1 gun....my friend's father had about 15 riffles and such.

You 80,000,000 would mean that almost every American between the age of 25 to 50 would own a gun as there are just under 300,000,000 Americans.

You have to becareful when you use statistics what you did was incorredt and misleading...there are far more gun deaths then there are deaths/not accidents by doctors.

My allergies are killing me, so I'm off to buy a gun.
The difference with your (almost) comparison on attorneys is that if I mess up a case, no one dies or--in my civil practice--even goes to prison. They just lose money. If it's my fault, they file a claim and my insurance pays it I guess--I haven't had a claim in 25 years, but that's how it 's supposed to work. For a lawyer to cause a death, you'd have to have an innocent person convicted and then executed. That may happen, but it's rare.

where a doctor can not assist he must be prevented from doing damage.....

please bear in mind that the main difference between lawyers and doctors is that doctors leave you alone when you are dead. Kindly therefore do not spread callous scandal about us lawyers as we have ways of finding you, even on the other side........

So if I get sick, I should go out and buy a gun?
