They want open conversations with terrorists. How funny is that? They are called terrorists for a reason. They believe Iran has nothing but good intentions with their nuclear program and just want to cut and run from Iraq. Iraq has been a mistake, their is no doubt about that. However, liberals are so far left these days that you can't have a civilized conversation? Mention the word George or W or Bush and watch them squirm. Everything is his fault according to lefties. Gas prices, the high price of milk, Cubs inability to win the World Series, global warming, and earthquakes are his fault. However, he is not given credit for the low unemployment rate, the stock market is higher that the artificial boom in Clinton's days, and no terrorists attack since 9/11. Liberals assign blame but won't give credit. Why is that?

zclifton2, could you point out where I was dishonest?
FACTS
1. Unemployment rate is low
2. Economy is stronger than under Clinton.
3. No terrorist attacks since 9/11.

Show me where I was "dishonest" and then try to answer my original question which is why do liberals fail to give credit? You obviously avoided the question.

Softtsouls, is it Bush's fault you lost money. The markets are roughly where they were pre-Bush. Yeah, the Nasdaq isn't but if you failed to diversify your money out of techs, is that his fault. Bush doesn't control your portolio. I stated the economy was stronger. I didn't say your portfolio was.

Softtsouls, you are cracking me up. The market was going down dramatically in the last year of the Clinton administration. It was called the "tech bubble". Look at a chart for the Nasdaq. I will even make it easy for you.
http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/charts/chartdl.aspx?Symbol=%24COMPX

The Nasdaq went from 4700 to roughly 2500 in one year BEFORE Bush was in office. Look at the DOW chart, it will tell you the same thing. And their was also this event called 9/11 that also contributed to the recession as well. Maybe the charts are lying. Remember he didn't take office until January 20, 2001. Keep bringing it, but let us try and stick to the facts.

Crystal, The only accusations I made toward liberals were they bury their head in the sand and they believe Iran has nothing but good intentions. You will also note in my previous post I said liberals that are "so far lef". I meant extreme liberals, I didn't mean liberals in general. If you were offended I'm sorry.

However, you still failed to answer my question, which is why do liberals assign blame but not give credit. There is no doubt the national debt is out of control. See, I will admit that. My problem is that you completely avoided the other items stated. You still didn't address other economic indicators such as the major markts, which are doing well. You didn't address low unemployment, which is another good thing. You did not address the fact we haven't had a terrist attack since 9/11. So I ask you again, why do liberals "on the extreme left" assign blame but fail to give credit?

hugs and kisses will solve all the problems of the world, and Bush just doesn't realize it!

Actually the economy is crap since Bush. Do you even have any idea how much he has increased the national debt with his useless war? Bush has raised the national debt more than any other president in history--more than twice as much as any other president actually. How's that for a great ecomony? Additionally, Iraq was not a threat to us. So what if they have nuclear weapon? So do we. Does that give other countries the right to attack us just because we have them? I'm pretty sure you're going to say no to that. And Bush claims part of his reason for the war is to spread democracy to Iraq. That is not our responsibility. Our responsibility is our country.

And, not all liberals blame Bush for everything. I certainly don't. I think Bush has made some mistakes and I don't agree with many of his policies, but then again, I don't agree with all liberal policies either. However, I am not about to "bury my head in the sand" or make unfounded accusations against an entire political party just because I don't agree with them.

Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and I have no dislike or disrespect for people just because they believe things differently than I do. You come on here and attack all liberals claiming they dont' have "civilized conversations," yet I'm fairly certain that attacking millions of individuals and making generalized accusations is also not have a "civilized conversation"

I am always open for honest, educated debate, and never "bury my head in the sand"

Why do liberals stick their heads in the sand?

What do you think you and your con buddies are doing D*ckweed? In Clinton days the stock market was doing better than under either Bush Sr and Jr. Until there was a open discussion on a World News program last year about the stock market and how it fell under Bush Jr's watch - you didn't really have much to say then. I however pointed out to them that our family lost $720,000.00 (that's divided by 9 of us) under Bushes watch. And with the stock today still under Bush we have only made back $323,000.00 (still divded by 9 of us). So tell me again how sweet this President Jerk has made our economy.

Excuse me!! Under Bush the stock market fell because they failed to make sure that their little secret policy of buying and selling after the stocks were closed still kept going for the elite. Many people lost money when that bullsh*t was going on not just us you dumb*ss. Maybe you better go back and read about that scandel and tell the rest of those whose money went bye-bye the same way this little story you just told me.

Spain has already surrendered to the Muslims extremist. Frances population is now 20% Muslim that burned over 6000 cars last year. I believe that they do not actually realize that there is a fanatic population of the world that wants them and everyone that does not believe the way they do dead. We may have to sacrifice some freedoms to maintain the ones we have. There is hardly a country in the world that has not suffered a terrorist attack. They cannot name one Muslim country that has freedom of the press, rights for women, or any that we enjoy here. It is beyond their grasp of what reality is to even imagine that we could ever have to defend ourselves on our own shores. You will see by the amount of thumbs down this answer receives. Below is a little reminder. Many of these attacks happened before they were born. This is just a partial list. They were many more in between.
Iran Embassy Hostages, 1979;
* Beirut, Lebanon Embassy 1983;
* Beirut, Lebanon Marine Barracks 1983;
* Lockerbie, Scotland Pan-Am flight to New York 1988;
* First New York World Trade Center attack 1993;
* Dhahran, Saudi Arabia Khobar Towers Military complex 1996;
* Nairobi, Kenya US Embassy 1998;
* Dares Salaam, Tanzania US Embassy 1998;

If the man you so idolize so much has done something worth mentioning, I would see it.

But I haven't. His policies are so destructive to the general health of America--I'm very much surprised that we're still here and not buried six feet under yet.

All you have is your hatred of liberals, your ignorance, your arrogance, and your blind stupid notions that everyone should bow down to the "mighty" United States of America, and not lift a finger in return.

properly, i do no longer think of so, as a results of fact i've got faith Obama is doing and could proceed to do a powerful activity as president. as properly he has in simple terms been in an extremely couple of minutes. yet seems to be on the the ideal option song. yet after 8 years, if he messes up like Bush did, i do no longer think of that liberals will respond like the Cons did below Bush. yet I do have faith the Cons will in no way recover from the election and could proceed to whine whine whine. it truly is what they seem to do ideal.
