I am asking this beacuse..... everybody in the world daily keeps on telling that INDIA is this INDIA is that...! But has INDIA really done anything wrong or is it the INDIANS who are making it responsible even though it hasn't done something.....I myself am an Indian... ! and that's why I ask....has our Country done anything wrong to us....

Who say India is this India is that? What I know is that India is best even in worst. So why you worry? Don't to know when Elephant take Stroll Street dogs bark! India is on the path of great future & everyone is jealous of this. Neither our country nor our people have done anything wrong but it’s the economic & scientific progress which is troubling all, all these people had seen India & Indians in a very bad state economically but now with the economic growth they are getting upset & know such progress will make India & Indian far ahead of them, so they criticize & curb India & Indians.

The Indians are in India and India is in Indians. No matter what both are great. Everyone in India should be proud of being an Indian as even though I am not from India. Bravo Indians and most importantly stay in your country and help your country instead I see many Indians starting to migrate to other countries for just money.

First of all, the reasons and they are that it's the country that has done wrong but rather the country's govt.! And here it is:
More Corruption.
More Poverty.
More Hunger.
(Also Uncleanliness of Indian cities as well!).
Pretty much India.. sorry...make it Indian govts. has "progressed" so far in developing more of bad stuff but what about the good stuff, when are you going to progress in it? And so far, one more special, what YOU THE PEOPLE are doing about it? What have YOU done about it, if yes that you have then have YOU done enough?

How can you seperate Indians from India? Every Indian is an ambassodor of his country abroad. so if he does something wrong India will get a bad name. Just like parents get blamed for a child's behaviour. so every Indian should behave like a responsible citizen.

There is nothing wrong with India.
India is a Perfect country, it has a very rich soil, good farming, surrouded by sea, good seasons, perfect weather.
The only problem is our people, who are becoming more and more westernized. forgetting our cultural values. isn't this why we have AIDS more than ever?
Plus What are we doing to improve our society? Why are we blaming governments? Don't we, as citizens of Inida has any Responisibility? Goverment gave us rights, but are we doing our Duty?
ARE YOU DOING YOUR DUTY AS AN INDIAN?
have you Done any volunteer work for society, school, hospital, or villages?Have you done any Action that was for someone else, and not for your self or your own family? Do we ever go and check on the kids who doesn't have food to eat? do we ever go educate the poor kids in our free time?
This can go on forever....but WE HAVE TO START....other wise no one will....

No our country has not done any thing wrong to us.
But our politicians have made India a most corrupt country in the world. Rich are becoming more rich and poors are becoming more poor.
We Indians curse our politicians irrespective of their parties, but not our country.

I do not think every body in the world is obsessed with India, as you suggest. We seem to hear and like to hear more about India, because we are Indians. You will hear and would love to hear about yourself and all that is related to you. I think the Americans are the most obsessed with themselves so much so that all their international and domestic policies are US-centric.

A country identity depend on Citizens. They can make a country look good or Bad. They are the country present and future. So I can tell you Citizens are to blame for and most likely politicians who makes and introduce the laws to the country and rest blames go to one who suppose to protect and administered the laws. having visited india I can not say the country is to blaim it sufferes a lot of disasters and is very hot but I am sure that is why you love it. but the faiths are very convused there and the government may not be as strong as it should be. you can not blaim the land for trubles but may be the people.
