The global warming fear mongers.

2007-04-14 20:05:23 · answer #1 · answered by AirborneSaint 5 · 5 4

Fox News, Ann Coulter, and various other hate mongers are far more effective in spreading fear than terrorists.
I am a huge advocate of freedom of speech and the press and believe very strongly that these rights should be protected.
It's when opinions and biases are presented as fact (i.e. fox news) that I start having a problem with it.
Fox News is a terrorist's best friend.

Well, of course, my answer to this would be Fox News, but I don't think that most Americans even realize this.

The WTC catastrophe was HUGE in the eyes of Americans, and very frightening. (It all but washed out whatever we felt about the Oklahoma City bombing, the Olympic bombing, etc. Besides, those were "our" people, so that's not so scary, eh?) I wouldn't say that "terrorism" is the least of our problems, especially now that we have converted so many people, world-wide, into America haters, but what our government is doing to all of us right now is much more terrifying to me!!

I recently had to explain the whole "Iraq War" to someone who asked why Iraqis were killing their own people. I don't think that most people even have any idea of what is going on, but if they get their info. from Fox, they are being scared right into giving up their rights and freedoms.

What? Do you relatively have self assurance that Fox would not record ALL information? Sorry to enable you to be attentive to, yet they do record each and all of the information. no person has supported this habit. To think of so might fantastically much be seen insane. not precisely specific why they're calling those human beings "ideal wing". "those acts might intimidate and demoralize regulation enforcement diminishing their ranks and rendering them ineffective," the indictment reads. Conservatives and Republicans help regulation enforcement.

I wasn't aware that Fox news was beheading people they disagree with? I didn't know they advertise by convincing teenagers to blow themselves up in crowded shopping malls. Maybe I should start watching FNC! Finally news commentary with some grit.

There is a valid point in what you say! To a great extent, the policies of the American government seem to be decided in media circles!

I am unsure what you mean by "peddles" fear. But I'm going with Al Gore.

No one fears terrorist until they are on a plane. If only we could start showing the beheading of people to the public maybe we could get up in arms over this issue.
