Probable U. S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hi, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya & Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hi. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His
father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two yrs in a Catholic school. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school." Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear
that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, a Jakarta. Wah! abism is the radical teaching that is followed
by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Know the facts.

I don't intend to offend anyone, I knew this would be a hot topic though, For the record I believe he knew he'd have a better chance of being elected if he began attending a "Christian Church" he was raised radical Muslim.... those beliefs run deep... and I'm not risking my freedom... this is exatley the type of stunt the terrorist would try to pull.

Obviously you haven't done any research on him that doesn't come from media with an agenda. (they will twist things to sell more newspapers or get higher ratings, on either side:Republican or Democrat, because they know that the majority of Americans believe it and do not check into it to see if it is true or not.)

Read his books and look at his senate webpage, as well as watch some of his videos of his speeches from his site:barackobama.com and you will see what type of person he is.

Compared to our current leader and some of the recent past he is a breath of fresh air.

He doesn't take money from lobbyists because he genuinely wants to help the middle class and poor (he wasn't rich when he started, either) And he doesn't claim to have all the answers-he wants to know what the American public thinks.

I believe he is a very honest man, and while he may not have a lot of experience, that maybe is not such a bad thing, since so many politicians do what the upper 1% want, instead of helping the majority of Americans, because the upper 1% has the money to give to them, when a lot of us don't have much to give, and thus don't get our requests heard. Or the politicians only tell us what we want to hear to get votes, and then leave their promises unfulfilled.

In other words, I don't think he has been corrupted yet, and from reading his book, I know he thinks everything through before he does it, and has a conscience. Something that is lacking in a lot of other politicians.

In fact, he returned $50,000 of money that he had been offered for his campaign for President, when he found out that it was from lobbyists.
How many other politicians would refuse money?

if we had a muslim in the office wouldn't that make the middle east shut the f*** up? Obama isn't a terrorist, and for anyone to use one's religion as a basis for discrimination is just as unamerican as a terrorist. what makes a Muslim a terrorist stems from them feeling like the US has slighted them somehow (whether is true or just brain washing). i don't see obama being mad at the US so i wouldn't really worry about his religion. so don't be a bigot and its not like he would turn the country inside out. he would be 1/3 of the government, and if he tried anything funny i don't think i'd be the only one revolting and protesting

What should matter most is the fact that he is eligible to contest for a public office, under the constitution of the country, which he already did! Mixing politics with religion is already causing havoc in many other parts of the world and it will be a pity if religious background of a contestant assumed prime role in the next presidential polls!

Not to ignore the whole point of your question or anything, but I just find it funny the way so many traditionally persecuted 'things' are present in this candidate's profile:

Hussein?
He's black(not that it matters, for those of you who see racism in the mention of some-one's skin colour)
If you believe the media, he's Muslim
His last name sounds suspiciously like some-one else's.

Surely whoever was picking presidential candidates had the smarts to see all of these things? Has anyone thought that these 'coincidences' seem just a bit fake?

Ok, so what you are saying is he is a Jihadist. Unbelievable. I suppose now he's going to bring Muslims from Iran to kill all of us, with Congress and the rest of the country not knowing what he is doing...

You want to put down facts. Where are the facts for Republicans. What about Newt Gingrich, who admitted cheating on his sick wife while trying to impeach Clinton on CHEATING ON HIS WIFE!

How about the current president, who ran as far away from the Vietnam War as he possibly could, was an alcoholic, and did cocaine?

Rudy Guiliani was in office and either had or try to have his mistress stay with him before divorcing his wife.

Does their past matter as much as Obama?

Beside the fact that religious affiliation is not a factor in my opinion, Barack Obama is NOT a Muslim. The "facts" you quote have all been exposed as lies and propaganda.

Please educate yourself with the truth before spreading lies out of ignorance.

Your so-called "information" has no basis in fact, and was copied practically verbatim from an email making the rounds last year, based on a now-debunked (by CNN) article by Insight Magazine. That's pretty sad if you believe unproven propaganda without searching for the truth. Perhaps this is what leads people to think you hate Muslims, since folks tend to align themselves with others who have the same ideals - in your case, those who spread lies about Muslims in order to provoke hate and fear.

Here is the CNN report on the debunking of this false article:

He's a Christian....he went to school for a while in a very progressive Muslim school. And even if he was a Muslim...who cares? It should be about his ideas and leadership not his religion.
