I thought with all the gun control laws there were background checks and waiting periods. Why would we allow a non-citizen to purchase guns of any kind and risk that they could be terrorists?

if i am 17, and the guy was 19. i'm not going to get into what happened. but if he messed with me, would it have been statuatory rape? i didn't say no, but i didn't actively participate either. i just layed there. but like i said, i was only 17. so did he do something wrong?
i'm not gonna get him in trouble or anything..it's too late for that. i just want some closure on this one.....

All I ever hear about is the problems with Mexicans but they have never been a real problem here. We have had a rather nasty gang of Vietnamese here in Albuquerque…
Now this Cho Seung-Hui a South Korean goes and causes the deadliest mass shooting in US history…
To compound matters the UN wants us to start taking in tens of thousands of Iraqi refugees????

As per the book "the last days"when a president exits a chopper or jet the military person who salutes the pres is to show respect after saluting and perform a right face in the direction of the leaving pres.Cliton by the end of his term did not get this respect.It was re-established for GWB.....

I have tried to have discussions with pro-gun people about gun control and have found it difficult. First they usually they ramble on about how they learned to shoot a gun from their father, grandfather or brother. When I mention banning semi-automatic weapons or limiting the # you can purcahse, they cry that would lead to slippery slope where all guns will be banned. Is there any middle ground at all on this issue?

Corps and convince him/her to join another branch of the service i accomplished something. the Marine Corps is nothing but a bunch of egotistical people who think they are better than everyone else. they are the ONLY branch of the service in which their recruit training brutality is covered up. we already have a very effective army in which could accomplish all that the Marine Corps claims they can do and even more. it takes more than just pretty dress blues to be effective in combat. all marines can attest to the fact that the Marine Corps doesnt have alot of job choices. a young adult who wants to make the military his first choice in life should pick a service that can train them for whenever they are discharged. young people, if u dont want to be a slave for the next 3-4 years, dont join the Marine Corps. the Marine Corps is very prejudice when it comes to promotions. why do we need two land armies? .

If you can't tell. . . .I'm frickin outraged at many of you . Just what kinda people rush so quickly to judgment, and try to politicize a tragedy , over the DEAD CORPSES of our youths at Va. Tech ?

Now ABC News reporter, Chuck Gowdy, is reporting that this shooter was treated for depression and friends described him in a deep state of depression .

If you're not one of the people politicizing this tragedy, then please ignore the following question !!

Just how sick , demented, and judgmental do you have to be to try an further your stupid political cause over the DEAD CORPSES of our youth ?

I'm not really suggesting this, but do you think an "Arm Wrestling" tournament would be interesting... or how about a "Yahoo answers convention" ? broken out to different locations based on the subject.. so we political people would have our own place.?
I guarantee that someone is going to tell me to "go back to the pipe" but wouldn't we be a force if we could get this together?
let's face it the representation in this country is representing...
how do we get back to local governance?
I've checked and my town hall meetings don't cover any of what we're all talking about...
instead of the media puppet heads wouldn't it be great to know what your neighbor really thinks...

After the shooting in VA doesn't it make you think that any arab terrorist can just walk in and shoot everyone just like that? Its much harder to sucide bomb in America...but a gun on a college campus seems to be a easy thing to do.....that makes me nervous cause im in college right now as im typing this....
