I don't understand how he can make changes to our Constitution while we stand by and watch. Does anyone know the political process we can take to retract what he has already done as quickly as possible? Put things back the way they were? I know he will eventually leave. Seems voting him out didn't work. Is there some emergency step we can take to stop him in his tracks? Stop him from ruining our country? I think we need to add something to the constitution, that no president going forward can ever make changes to the Constitution without the vote of the people specifically for that action. We should be allowed to say no, not politicians saying it for us. To even entertain a change should require very American's approval.

i get tired of seeing all these people talking about dropping gun control. that is absolutely insane. we need much stricter gun control laws that allows only the right people the opportunity to carry guns. its simple. you should go through a very strict and in depth background check, not just to see if you are a felon or not. only responsible people should carry guns, plain and simple. you shouldnt be able to walk into a gun show and buy any gun you want without a background check (like at columbine). you shouldnt be able to buy military style assault weapons. i would never advocate taking away guns, but how can anyone argue that we dont need strict gun control laws? do you think any joe smith should be able to have one? how in the world would that help? wouldnt that cause MORE gun crimes because people that normally wouldnt have access to guns all of a sudden can go to any gun store and walk away with one.

SO here is my situation. Last September I was looking for a roommate and I found someone (from Saudi Arabia) to live in my apartment and pay half the rent. He told me that he might have to leave after 6 months and I told him that as long as he stayed at least 6 months that was fine. So he signed the lease with me which goes all year. The problem is he only stayed 2 months and never found a replacement for me. He finally found one of his friends to take over his room in March. I had to go 4 months paying the rent all by myself. He says he doesn't have to pay his share becasue he wasn't living there. He is on the lease though and still is till this day. Do I have any legal grounds to make him pay for those 4 months?

Is this what we have come to, that we are so desperate for attention that we hold signs up in the hope that someone sees us and takes our picture? How self-centered. Whatever happened to respectful, introspective, quiet mourning?

We have plenty of laws in place to restrict the possessing of firearms. Do we need more, or enforce the ones we already have? Do we really need more restrictive laws on abiding citizens? Was the shooter at VT a law abiding citizen with legal gun ownership? If so, did the gun free zone the school had in place help or hurt the students?

Could yesterday's tragedy have happened with a knife? I am just trying to understand the mentality that guns have no part in human destruction...that a human will kill with anything handy. Although I agree that a persoan can use anything as a weapon, don't guns have that 'special' advantage of being able to kill several people at once, from a distance?

Last night I was driving on the highway (left lane) going at least 20mph over the speed limit when I saw a cop in the middle lane. So naturally I got out of the left lane and into the center lane. I was at least 2 car lengths behind the cop. We were both going the same speed, 60mph in a 50mph zone. He then switches into the right lane and I maintain 60mph. He gets behind me, flashes his lights and then said I was tailgaiting him, but he wasn't going to write me a ticket for that. Instead, he wrote me up for speeding 10mph over the speed limit. If he was going the same speed should I appeal it
