why beat up on the illegal immigrants the real problem is with those with a criminal mind all the gang people the thief's muggers people who abuse the system (the professional welfare cheats) ( not the welfare recipients that truly need a hand up ) and those who take from society without giving
the ones who clog the emergency rooms with no intent of ever paying and those who steal our identity

i know the illegal aliens mostly fit this but not all
and we have many home grown (i cant think of a good word for the scum that they are ) think or the McVeigh dude who blew up all the kids in Oklahoma
we don't need to get mad or revenge we need to educate ourselves and do what is necessary to protest are selves

what do we do with the undesirable jail them or ship them out
what to do with the peaceful illegals let them build and manage the prison until they learn our language and get a legitimate job Thain let them in

What is the foundation of this "amnesty" plan to begin with ??
When the rules for immigration CLEARLY state that amnesty can only be offered a foreign national if they are under eminent threat of their life within their own country that can be proven !!!!

Another point that is simply NOT being made -- is the fact that with amnesty --- there is NO naturalization process at all and the individuals are offered a full citizenship status without even the hint of a loyalty oath OR any education on the country and the processes by which it operates !! And, unless it has elluded you --- very few of these people are in the least bit interested in flying the U S flag at any time ---yet wave the Mexican flag at every opportunity --- this -- in and of itself should tell people some very interesting things about where their loyalties lie !!

I don't think will give amnesty. At first this
may seem unrelated. Bare with me.
Through abortion the workforce has been getting
killed off for over 40 years now. Millions leaves
there jobs to be done by someone else. Inter the
undocumented immigrants. Doing the jobs of the
aborted Americans. Most of us don't want to harvest
the produce ect. If the market crashes as it did in
the late 1920's there will be no jobs for anyone.
Abortion being what it has and the immigrants
being undocumented, they could be deported opening
a few hundred jobs for Americans. I think you could
say the "USA is hedging there bets"
Oh! The negative impact would be to the Mexicans
who have spent thousands of dollars and five years
trying to come here legally.

I'd vote against Obama even if he grew a halo and his opponent had horns. The man is a major mistake and disaster! If he passes amnesty against the will of the people, as strong as the sentiment is against it, I expect there will be violence. I am not advocating violence in any way but there are many already angry people out there and he will only make them more angry. The Mexican people in this country will be the ones to suffer for it the most. Obama does not care about the will or the well being of the people, only his agenda, which is all about power and control.

Well, given that schools and services like health care are already failing in areas where illegal immigrants concentrate and that legalization would let them bring family, who could bring family.... our children's education and health care for our own sick and poor would be pretty well ruined.

And given that neither 'comprehensive bill' requires the long mandated visa exit tracking system to be put in place, and both renege on the fence that was overwhelmingly voted in before the elections, millions on millions more will come expecting yet another amnesty as soon as they can reach a critical mass deemed 'impractical to deport'.

And then there is this:http://www.heritage.org/Research/Welfare/sr12.cfm

and this: http://www.tehachapinews.com/home/Blog/jimr/7671

and you can find much more at CIS.org.

Put the thought into STOPPING the inflow that is being put into avoiding true enforcement and border security, and we might have a starting point to discuss other issues. Right now, we don't.

P.S. There are REASONS we have quotas on how many poor people can come, crime aside. They aren't able to pay their way, and money doesn't equal classroom space and trained teachers, in any event.

Stop the "undocumented" crap! They are ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS! They are criminals because they are breaking the law!

One major impact would be that the illegals would get welfare, not just their anchor babies. We would be paying even more for people that should never have come here!!!

Also, when they finally start "paying taxes" we will have to pay more for them. Because the have such low incomes they would probably qualify for EIC (Earned Income Tax Credit). This means they get all their withholding back PLUS extra money.

BTW, if the 20 to 30 million illegals get amnesty, millions more will continue to invade us for the next round of amnesty. It will NEVER stop!

Ironically, the very industries that have attracted those illegals would face increased labor costs. Legal employees have recourse to the law when treated unfairly.

There would probably be a surge in illegal immigration as many of those employers let thier now-legal (and expensive) employees go, and look for new illegals. The surge would also be fueled by hope for an additional amnesty.

At least, that's what happened with the last amnesty.

First it would show the world, you can break our laws, and thats ok. It would also tell them, come here even if its illegally, and don't worry, you can stay anyway. Plus your not giving amnesty to just 15 million, you can take that number time 6 or 8, they once getting amnesty, can ask for papers for, grandpa, grandma, mom, dad, brothers, sisters, and so on.

well see this depends on the conditions. If they become legal aliens or resident aliens... nothing good. More illegals will be encouraged to come here and they will continue to suck the life out of insurance, Health, education, welfare and our tax money.

If they are required to become citizens, pay a fine or leave/risk getting arrested (Bush's plan). We get people who must give up their other citizenship to become American citizens (loyalty). More people contributing to our public services with tax $ (ends their mooching of public "freebees"). Lessens identity theft by letting them work legally without stealing someone elses soc. security #, or being payed under the table (no tax $).

Honestly I think illegal immigrants have ruined this state (CAlifornia). But if they are willing to contribute to the system they have been mooching off of so long then I have no problem with that. I just hate going to school and having the government pay tuition for people who can't speak ANY english and have never payed a penny in taxes!
