The only reason I want to know is because if it was a liberal.... we be hearing this and that from republicans all day long. And it DOESN'T matter. I was just wondering.
Also, I just KNEW I'd get a reaction out of cons and I didn't even have to mention anything political!!! What make this any different than wanting to know who Anna Nicole's Baby-daddy is??? Exactly.

Not anymore....but at one time he had a $9,000 a month oxicontin addiction.

He was.
He had a problem with his inner ear. This is an extremely painful place to have an infection or other problem. He had surgery on his inner ear and received an implant. The doctors prescribed Oxycontin, a common painkiller. Most painkillers are addictive. Rush Limbaugh became addicted to Oxycontin.
When I had surgery in January I was given another painkiller, but one that is addictive. I took a few days' extra time off and stopped taking the painkiller. My surgery was in the abdomen though - far less painful than the ear. Frustrating because I couldn't move around much but not so painful that I needed the painkiller.
I don't really judge other people's actions when those actions don't do harm to someone else. That said I do think that going out and seeking a high is different from becoming addicted to medicine that is prescribed by a doctor.
As for the "doctor shopping" allegations we'll never know if that was true.

even as Jerry Garcia died, Rush requested why all and sundry cares about this drugee. A drugee is a drugee is a drugee. Do Rush a favor do not provide him any extra drugs. He needs to get into rehab. If he's addicted he could get into rehab and admit that he's a hypocrite.

He was but only liberals are allowed to be viewed as heroic for overcoming addiction. If a liberal goes to rehab he is praised even if he was using recreational drugs. A Conservative such as Rush Limbaugh is seen as weak. Someone to poke fun at even though the drugs were prescribed and for pain treatment.
Liberals can do no wrong, see? Conservatives can do no right.
So, turn off your brain and vote democratic.

Rush is an elected official? Seems Ted Kennedy's son is a pill popper and went to rehab. Not that it would concern you,because he's a dem and dem's get free passes.

I'm a Conservative and yes he is addicted to prescription medication. Many worldly people are. Their way out is a belief in a higher power.

He" had" a problem but has been through re-hab. Many people in this country get addicted to pain meds w/o meaning for it to happen. They are very seductive.......

Well, he paid his housekeeper's boyfriend or husband to provide him with Oxycontin, so that would seem to suggest it.
