What if you were living in a country occupied by the Nazis in WWII (for example)?
The resistance fighters then saw themselves as freedom fighters, not terrorists.

Sierra1227: asking me if I am a terrorist because I have posted a question on Y!A that seeks to provoke discussion as to how terrorism is defined is ludicrously crass.
Try to think beyond the half-formed definition you obviously have of what a terrorist is.

Freedom fighters target military and military operations. Not innocent people. A terrorist is always wrong.

By definition, terrorists target innocent civilians, women and children.
Terrorists are the spawn of Satan, the Father of Death.
Whatever their goals, they must find a more sane way of achieving them.
Terrorists are motivated by tyrannical desires that place THEM in charge of YOUR life whether you agree with them or not.
If you don't agree with them, their solution is to cut off you head, rape your sister and kill your children. Great bunch of guys to have in charge.
Don't fall for their specious arguments.
They are EVIL and TYRANTS.
