According to the 2006 Transparency International Corruption Perceptions Index, the worst countries (worst run, most corrupt, etc.) are Haiti, Myanmar, Iraq, Guinea, and Sudan.
Given the addition of appalling security situations there - war, mass murder, hotbeds of terrorism, and genocide - I'd have to say it's a tossup between Iraq and Sudan.

America.....Most of the population are still riding on horse and carts. They have no idea of what is happening outside of their state and they are brainwashed by the media. Such a big country and when the New Orleans Disaster happened the government did not help them??? They are always at war with the rest of the World.

I think Israel gets that spot even though America wouldn't cut down on its share of human abuses and corruption (outside America). Israel is really by far the worst but they should be a bit content now after losing a war against a bunch of (so-called) out-lawed bandits.

Rob you ask which the worse county in the world , , , well their are about 178 countries in the world , all different , as for which one is the worse , well i believe that if their was peace in each country in the world their would not be a worse county in the world at all.

I am not sure of its name, but the smallest country in the world is on a man made island off of the UK somewhere. There are no people living there right now.

These days I'd probably go with The Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, or Rwanda. All are excellent places to get tortured, maimed, raped or killed as a matter of course.

Depends on what you mean by "worst".
In general, I'd say it's probably one of the exploited African nations like Sudan or Rwanda.
