i was wondering because there are different laws on alcohol tobaco and firearms so what happens when you pass state lines.

No there is no border control between states. You are correct that some states have different laws regarding tobacco, alcohol, and firearms. But there are no "checkpoints" between states and the citizens are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws of the individual states in which they travel.

well sort of. like if you are traveling from New Hamphire to another state then there will be checking for any exit out of the state (fireworks) but for alcohol and tobbaco, there is none. so border control between states is limited to certain states that allow stuff like fireworks but the neighboring state doesn't allow it then there will be bordr control between those states
