What are the legal issues and Codes of participating in High Yield Investment Programs (HYIP's). I am aware of the extemely high risk and I know that many think they are Ponzi schemes, but those are moral issues. I am looking for info on the legal issues.

"All men recognize the right of revolution; that is, the right to refuse allegiance to, and to resist, the government, when its tyranny or its inefficiency are great and unendurable."

"Let every man make known what kind of government would command his respect, and that will be one step toward obtaining it."

"That government is best which governs least."

My family purchased a home (12/06) it didn't have a side fence, we spoke to the neighbor (he had his house for sale) that we would be putting a fence(wood). He said we could do whatever we wanted. We put it (1/07)up with the nice part on our side, on 2/07 the new owner came up to my sister and told her ( very rudely) she, that the job was done wrong, that we had to put a row of wood along his side. He also said we should have talked to him, we didn't know the house had been sold! ( the for sale by owner sign is still up on the lawn. What should we do? Is he right? or just being a jerk?

First of all, I'm not looking for any opninions. I'm looking for facts only. I needed to take a personal day on a day that both my manager and his boss will be out. The response was that my request was declined and I was told if I don't show up for work I'll get a warning and maybe get fired. Can they do this? Can they force me to work like this?

BTW...the only reason I requested the day of is becuase I was told that working out of another office that is convenient to waht I need to do is not acceptable since I'm the senior guy in my group. Reality is with multiple phones and e-mail...I don't need to be there.

Back to the issue...can they legally even threaten to fire me for this? What should I do?

although we have a Paliamentry system, will it not be benificial though if we only allowed 2 terms for one person , if the ruling party wins again then some one else should be elected as the primnister. It will reduce lot of corruption and patronizing.

Seriously. The time to debate why, when, how, etc. is over. You would think as Americans they would rally around our soldiers and do all they can to win! What happened between today and the WWII generation?! This crap would never have happened during WWII. All this debate over Iraq could have easily gone on during that war - should we be fighting, etc., but it didn't. Thank God this dumb internet wasn't around. The entire country sacrificed everything to win. We need to do that again. Boil it down. Are you an American or not? That's the only debate any liberal should be having - with themselves.

I work at a company where a lot of people includeing managers swear. F this....F that. In my opinion it just like saying racial slurs or sexual harrasment.

I mean there is something fundamentally wrong about forcing a person to by subjected to such obscene language. You have to go towork to make a living and shouldnot be forced to be subject to such disrespect.

What can I do if my company does not follow it's own policies?

Prostitution is already legalized in Los Vagas Nevada. It is also legal in Vermont Because of proverty reasons. People are dying to earn a living. People need to put food on their table. Prostitution is a moral issue. All moral issues are of a religious nature. We all have the freedom of religion. I am a prostitution activist because I believe that people deserve the right to decide for themself what is right or wrong as long as it does not hurt anyone else. Prostitution does not hurt anyone else. Prostitution is degraded by those who do not want other people to have this kind of access. This is mainly by married people who are insecure of themselves. The think that their spouse is going to cheat on them. To truth is prostitution is being commited by all. No one sell themselves for cheap and no one just give themself up for nothing. Nothing is defiled in itself. Only to those who think sol Then to them only it becomes defiled. Romans 14. www.youtube.com "sirmofetti"

In Nevada, prostitution is legal in some counties. They have to follow very tight liscencing laws, STD laws and be test regularally. Since 1986, when mandatory testing began, not a single brothel prostitute has ever tested positive for HIV.The mandatory condom law was passed in 1988. Now for the question, should Prostitution be legalized across the US?

Why would anyone in their right mind sign a contract that specified prison terms for those who did not abide by the rules? I can see having to repay what the government invested in training, but that's about it. No legal contracts for free people should include prison terms as punishment. Case in point, of course, Watada: "the maximum penalty would be a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of pay and seven years in prison." Well, that's just stupid.
