How can you say 1812 was a tie? The British relinquished all claims after that war and US was truly free. I call that a win.

I think Korea was a tie as they were pushed back to the original border instead of a complete defeat of North Korea.

That's a good list. I would definately list the war in Afghanistan, referred to as Operation Enduring Freedom. That is the war that started the war on terrorism and Operation Iraqi Freedom (a.k.a. the Iraq war) falls under it. Korea is not considered a win since we're currently in a cease fire. Yes, I know, it's been more than 60 years. Vietnam is not a war, it's a conflict, and who's to say what constitutes as a loss or win in that situtation since there was a lot of gray area.

You did however forget the American Revolution and the Civil War, however, win or loss in the Civil War probably depends on what part of the country you're from.

Vietnam was not really a loss, seeing as we left with a Peace treaty in force, we just failed to return because a democratic controlled congress wouldn't give the money to Gerald Ford.

You left out the Filipino War, and the second Barbary war isn't that important.

Korea was a win because we accomplished our objectives. War of 1812 can be construed as either a win or a draw. A loss of 19 men is nothing.

Grenada not a win??? We accomplished our objectives, that is a win.

In addition we had a whole lot of small ones left out. We invaded both Haiti and Panama half a dozen times each. We won all of them. The first Panama was so we can control the isthmus and build the Panama canal. There kind of small compared to the ones on your list, but some are more important historically than the Iraq war.
