I work at a company where a lot of people includeing managers swear. F this....F that. In my opinion it just like saying racial slurs or sexual harrasment.
I mean there is something fundamentally wrong about forcing a person to by subjected to such obscene language. You have to go towork to make a living and shouldnot be forced to be subject to such disrespect.
What can I do if my company does not follow it's own policies?

For those who THINK it's just a word, then I say you are wrong ya ____________(insert apropriate racial slur) Oh yeah...racial slurs are just words! By the way...bosses...go ahead, tell your workers they are so stupid they should have never been born. It's all just words! Oh can I play my rap or heavy metal in the office too? It's just music! Ok, technically you are right they are just words, but they also have meaning. Very offensive and inapropriate meanings. In civilization there is something called order. You don't just do whatever without consideration for others. Especially NOT in a shared space like an office where people NEED to be there. That VERY inconsiderate and selfish to subject you co-workers to your bad habits.

No, it is not illegal to use profanity at work, generally speaking. However, there are several issues that have arisen under the first and fourteenth amendments. The most common of these, in my experience, is that of a True Threat (which is not protected speech, and is sanctionable). Just because it is legal does not mean you can't get fired for it....

It is not illegal to use foul language.
Most companies have rules against it, but if they choose not to enforce them there really isn't much you can do.
Even if they fired you for using foul language while letting others use it regularly you wouldn't have too much legal footing unless you could prove that they were using it as an excuse to discriminate against you because you belong to a legally protected 'class'.

This site has information about Workplace Harrasment Laws.
If the company has policies that they are not following, you can do one of the following:
1. Contact the Headquarters offfice and report all violations
2. Contact your state Labor and Wage Regulation offfice

well that's your problem your opinion does not count as law, so as long as it's keep to swearing and not include any racial bias in swearing, they are in the clear, can you claim hostile work enviroment?... umm that's a weak and long shot..
sorry, sounds like your a bit frail for the work world
look for another job in a more professional company

It is not illegal, but mostly unacceptable.
Go to the top, the MD or Chairperson, and complain.
Failing that, you could resign under complaint, then go to tribunal.
