They come to make a better live, and some of them like my husban falls in love. Oncen again like my husband and I did. He is from Mexico, and doesn't have a green card. We have a baby and he is taking care of my childern from first marrage. So if his never been in trouble why, can't he stay. Whats wrong with that. What would you want us to get help from the state and not let my husband or other mexicans that has families here to stay? I don't understand. How are you people to say how to fall in love with. It's like you are in the 40's and 50's but with the backs it is with the mexicans. Should I turn my heart off?

Many liberals believe CEOs of companies like IBM and Home Depot make way too much money. However, why do you never complain about how much money movie stars, athletes, or major musicians make? After all, CEOs at least make the policies that keep America's businesses on track... thereby providing jobs for millions. In the meantime, movie stars, athletes, musicians, or artists employ very few people and live like royalty. Why are so many people OK with one group of people making millions for what they do, while it is not OK for others to make millions for what they do?

Ok, this middle ground that I speak of is probably the best solution to any problem. If my jaw is set, and your jaw is set, we fight. However if we fight to a standstill. Who wins. You will say you won. I say I won, we fight again. Lets take the health care issue. There are facts involved in this. Where is the middle ground. How can we acceive this middle ground. If I could prove to you that Universal Health care could acturally save you money. Could you prove to me that it would cost you more? What is the truth, which, is in the middle ground some place? It is never in an extreme. Answer as you wish but try to stay respectfull, Please

It's like a child who keeps forgiving his father for abusing him, because he's too dependent of his father.
Or like Stockholm's syndrome.
The Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response sometimes seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage exhibits loyalty to the hostage-taker, in spite of the danger (or at least risk) in which the hostage has been placed. Stockholm syndrome is also sometimes discussed in reference to other situations with similar tensions, such as battered person syndrome, rape cases, child abuse cases, and bride kidnapping

Let’s say that you are a police officer. You have stopped someone on a routine traffic stop. You approach the driver… but he speaks in another language. You do not understand what he is saying. Although it’s not a dangerous situation it feels like it and can turn into one instantaneously. How do you respond and how do you get him to comply?

Why do Dems/Libs bristle when there is a lack of respect shown- as with my parodying Obama's name. The bemoan a lack of civility in "childishness."
It seems that calls for civility are only made when one is being uncivil towards one of them. Where is the disdain at their own ranks when President Bush is called a "chimp"? Bush and Cheney are mocked 24/7, so spare me your pseudo genteel affectations.
