Do you think I should get your permission to paste advertising on your automibile or glue a sign to your front window?
Telephone poles, and street signs, along with anything on public property belong to the town, city, or county. They want to know what is being stuck on their property too.

they are supposed to. But most moran idiots leave them up and let them blow into people yards. Or they pull them out and I just happen to step on the nails that they hung them with. Yes to me that is litering

Depends on the city.... many have ordinances covering that very issue.

it's not litering, but you might have to get permission

but it's not likely that you'd get in any trouble at all for doing this
