Oh my god! Would you support a third party alliance (I would support it)? You mentioned McKinny, Paul and Keyes. McKinny has interest from the Green Party to run, Paul might have interest to run for the Libertarian Party if he doesn't win the GOP nomination and Keyes always has interest from the Constitution Party (Paul does too, I forgot). So a CP/ LP/ GP alliance. People say if third parties can't fight alone, they can fight together. Third party people are wising up and something will happen that will help our political system. A very clever question!

I agree the two party system is corrupt from top to bottom, giving us two faces of the same coin. The alternative, however, scares the bejesus out of me. A popularity contest would almost always result in one of those politically outspoken movie stars/entertainers winning elections. Would you like Oprah or Bono, Arnold or "The Motor City Mad Man" to become President?

This country has never decided if it was a Republic or a Democracy. That is one problem.
I don't believe in the electoral college bec. they can change their mind at the last moment and not vote the vote of the People.
And, it is sad that MONEY dictates who can run.
I have always envisioned a government of coalition: put the people in power who can actually DO THE JOB ! And, don't think about what party they are from, or if they are super wealthy; just if they can DO THE JOB.
But, I don't think I could get this idea to fly !

Have you looked at a ballot? We have more choices, but we're too stupid to choose them! Also, if you vote in the primaries you can pick which demo or repub you want.
Also, I agree that the electoral college system should end, if no other reason than to make people think their vote is worth more.
(imagine trying to vote for a third party in texas or another strong 'red' or 'blue' state)

because no matter how many ppl you have to run for the office of president from different parties....this is and always be 2 main parties....Republican and democrat. This being said, if you voter for anyone other than in either of these parties, then you have basically thrown your vote away. No matter what theses other organizations do....we as the voting American ppl will always vote with either of the 2 main parties, because we do not want to waste our vote.

It's less than 300 million, as ilegals can't vote. 18-24 year-olds won't vote. Pissed off conservatives may not vote.

I don't know....It really doesn't matter that much to me. I don't think, however, that every candidate is a "sell out." Apparently, Cynthia McKinny is somebody. Who?
