I'm on disability it took about 15 months, then I was denied as are most people about 90% there first time around then you have to get an attorney, then about 19 months later I was finally approved.Good luck. And I have 5 brain aneurysm, back surgery, fibromyalgia, seizures, graves disease, degenerative disc in my back in neck , and glaucoma and still was denied.Once approved though they will go back and pay him from the day he became disabled, and you can't rush them even if you know someone. That's the first thing my attorney told me that he couldn't make it go any faster but he could get me approved. They work at there own pace.

He should already been a sent a notice, usually they want to go to one of their faculties to talk to a doctor. If he is eligible than he will get a notice that he is eligible for his disability. He'll receive back pay from the time he first applied , a year if he has worked any in his life will probably be a pretty good sum in his check. Social Disability is hard to get unless you are really unable to complete any kind of work. Once you get that first check , you will be set for life, he needs follow up and find the statues of his disability it may have gotten lost. Just call and talk to then they'll check it out for him. Best of Luck to Your friend

An attorney can speed things up. But a Congressman is more helpful than anything. My son was paralyzed in an auto accident and it was dragging out and delayed for one reason or another, so I wrote to our Congressman. A representative from his office contacted us and 5 days later my son received his award letter from Social Security.

Social Security needs an overhaul. It took my mom three years to get a hearing. Now that she's on it, they've been slowly reducing her checks. My mom isn't supposed to work, but they are essentially forcing her to get back into the work force. Social Security needs to have the rules rewritten and better clarification for their own people to know what is going on. Be prepared. It's going to suck.

confident I easily have heard it many situations. I want it have been greater to easily do something with, on the grounds that we are in many situations broke by using the third week of the month. it incredibly is too undesirable expenditures for each thing could no longer be as they have been in the 50's, and we could nevertheless get the comparable volume of SS as we get now. Then there could be sufficient funds to fulfill the two our expenditures and be waiting to purchase issues to swap what's mandatory in our properties. what's the main problematical, is to easily want the tests and yet, there's no longer sufficient to easily meet our desires. I hate to think of that portion of our stimulus tests will bypass to the food market. even yet it probable will.

its basically a game they play. they think if they put you off long enough, you will give up on trying to recieve benefits. sometimes it works, alot of people give up the fight and then they get nothing.tell your friend to hang in there.if he gives up they win. tell him to keep fighting.

Your friend should tell them that he's an illegal alien. They'll get him his disability and anything else he wants right away.
