It's impossible to get either side to budge so they will continue to tell people from the other side to get an education so they can learn how wrong they are.

It's all over. The USA is living off the fumes of the American Revolution and the Civil War. America is in moral free fall. In 50 years the USA will be a third rate power. The Dems will accelerate the process but Republicans can't stop it, they can only slow it a little. Democracy doesn't work in a country where the population has a low average IQ and the masses are primarily concerned about what the government can give them. I'd never thought that I'd say this but democracy is not working in this country.

It's difficult to answer your question because you say Libs and Reps. There are many liberals that are Republics. IE, Giulani.

I happen to be a Democrat and liberal so I will answer. I want the Republics to stop their lies, their false statements about Democrats such as we want to leave Iraq immediately and to stop thinking of us as the enemy. We can't get anywhere with that mentality.

Our nation is too polarized. I don't think either side can get along anymore since there truly is no common ground. What we need to do is split the country and let libs have half and conservatives have half. Just wondering, what side would be more prosperous and would thrive?

I think your question is based on a false premise. Republicans and Democrats want opposite things. They don't want anything from each other. They want votes from you and me so they can enact the policies that each cares most about.

Issues matter.

I want libs to stop playing dirty. I really don't want anything from them, but they need to play by their own rules.
