Are the Democrats already showing extreme spending?

“The Department of Defense offered Speaker Pelosi the same aircraft” as the one used by Hastert, said one senior Republican who has spoken extensively with Defense Department officials about Pelosi’s requests. “She found it was not big enough for staff, supporters and other Members.”

Make them fly regular flights, hey we have too!

Political parties, affiliations and groups emerge at a drop of a hat, at every level, be it in Schools, Colleges, Societies, States or the Country. People associated with each, are not able to look beyond the petty aim of making their respective outfit succeed, not on their own merits, but by highlighting the weaknesses of others. Nation-Building certainly does not figure in their scheme of thoughts. Then, why not do away with this "multi-party-system" and introduce a "two-party-system", as is, in most of the developed countries of the World. As a prelude to any Elections, have debates on various burning issues organized and be telecast and broadcast the World over. Have some basic qualitative requirement laid down for people to hold any political appointment, which should be in consonance with the authority that it commands. India will become more democratic in all aspects. Efforts will be channelized more towards patriotic values, instead of being restricted to personal/selfish gains

They get their way our children will be praying in public schools that they had clean air to breath water to drink, and they didn't all have Cancer.

Don't say you would bring them all home. I can't begin to list the reasons why a 100% withdraw of troops all at once is just not possible. If you think you could bring them home, give a serious explanation how.

I'm what's considered "lower class" and I'm a republican. I'm intelligent and did well in my studies, but I did not go to college as I was born with aspergers disorder (Makes it hard for me in social situations) I live with my wife and she's going to college. I work as hard as I can every day, slightly above minimum wage, and I'm a republican along with my wife. Whenever I speak of this with my "liberal" friend I cannot describe the anger they throw at me. Have democrats ever considered that maybe we think that stealing $$ from people who earned it is wrong? I'm a christian and I take that "thou shalt not steal" commandment very seriously as you can tell.

All that the democrats and liberalism will do is kill our economy, weaken us as a world power, and make people not want to work because they'd make just as much money sitting at home smoking pot all day. I do understand why anyone above the age of 18 would not see this.

This prediction does not necessarily mean that this is the outcome I want. It's simply what I see shaping up for the future, whether I like it or not, or whether you do either. Whereas I have strong reservations about our nation being under Hillary's thumb, I have great hopes for Obama as a future president, if his political credibility survives being associated with the excesses of a 2nd Clinton era.
