In Biden's remark and then by Bush saying the man is articulate, is supposed to be some kind of racial slap in the face. Obama should have come out and said that the comments were a compliment and thank both Biden and the President for the kind words! Him playing i'm the hurt black man with thin skin, isnt going to play with the majority of the voting public! Especially a year from now when its going to get real ugly, from his own party running for the same position....Hillary, Biden, Richarson, Edwards, and the 2 or 3 other clowns.

All I read are cheap shots at "Libs", "Cons", etc. I'm sick of all of this when there are real problems in this country and with this country!!

Our young people are dying for the lie that they are "protecting our freedoms".

Our economy is in the toilet.

Our educational system stinks!!

Our poor people are getting poorer, and the rich are getting richer!

Our manufacturing jobs are all going overseas!

Our children are inheiriting a mess!

Can anyone make any workable suggestions?

The latest thing to raise the hackles of the PC police is the Snickers ad aired during the Super Bowl. Is there anything they DON'T find offensive?

What has the DNC done for America? The war on poverty is a failure. Other causes they champion are failures, SS, medicare, wellfare, etc. The education system is a joke, it costs as much to teach one kid in most states as it costs to send them to a in-state college. Lies, lies, and more lies. I will say one thing, you guys know how to raise taxes.

A hairdresser bleached my hair without telling me. She has damaged my hair. Her husband was applying the bleach at one point and i dont think he is a qualified hairdresser nor an apprentice. Is this allowed? I mentioned to her that my scalp was hurting but she ignored this. She has ruined my hair and i need to have the colour corrected. However my concern is that it seems just anyone can be a hairdresser even if they dont know what they are doing. Is there a body that regulates the licencing etc? I have confirmation from two independent hairdressers that she has damaged my hair.

For instance, a serbian police officer saying to a croatian, with minimal provocation, that he will not take his word because he is a "filthy croat", making a three-finger salute, reporting on his radio that the person "definitely behaves like a croat" (along those words), and just generally expressing his contempt for croatian people, and getting into childish arguments. This person was reporting an assault that had happened outside the station, and it simply was not addressed. And there was absolutely no provocation on his part. This is in Australia here, New South Wales. Is making racial slurs allowable conduct for police officers?

Why not hold simultaneous binding referenda in the United States and Iraq on the question: "Shall the United States continue its military occupation of Iraq?"

If the voters of Iraq (or of both countries) say "no", we leave.

If Iraqis say "stay" and Americans say "leave", we begin to leave slowly.

If the voters of both countries want us to stay engaged, we stay and hold another referendum in a year.

What say you?

We have hard working people all over that don't break the law and they don't always get 3 meals a day. I say we give prisoners 1 meal a day and no tv. It would save so much money. What do you think?

if a person was charged with committing a crime and then was acquitted, doesn't it make sense that now, with DNA and other advanced forensic techniques that can prove that he really did commit the crime, he should be retried? this would require a change in the constitution.

we are afforded protection from "double jeopardy," which is having to stand trial more than one time for one offense. but an amendment to the constitution is so very hard to pass!!!

my logic tells me that if a convict can later prove, via such advanced forensic techniques, his innocence and therefore be set free (or retried so that the real culprit pays for the crime, therefore being set free), then:

it only follows that if DNA identification or any other proven modern technology can show that the so-called innocent REALLY AND IN FACT committed the crime that he was acquitted of not having done, that he should stand trial again.

kindly support your opinions. thanks!
