There is lots of money involved. There is lots of power involved. There is lots of imperfection involved. Supreme Court is an independent Authority! But when somebody in Government interfere everything gets spoiled.
Police force is also an independent force. How much percent is independent? Without Government ideas police force cannot function.
Likewise without Government support Supreme Court cannot funtion.

Supreme Court can pass orders and they depend on Government to implement them. When Government don't implement due to selfish reasons it is bad.

legislature does have more power than the supreme court. often what happens is that the supreme court makes an unpopular decision, then the legislature will respond by creating a law that contradicts that decision so only the popular outcome will occur in the future. the only way legislature's decisions can be overturned by the courts is if the law created is unconstitutional. makes sense right? i mean, we want the popularly elected gov't to have some power in how decisions are made.

It is the Federal government's responsibility to enforce Federal law and ultimately that power lies in the executive branch.

In the past, when state governors have refused to obey Federal law, the President has used his full authority as Commander-In-Chief, sometimes even using Army troops to enforce the law.

What case are you referring to specifically? It is the Attorney General's job to enforce the law. If you know of a specific case, contact the Justice Department. If they are unhelpful, sometimes your local elected official can help.
