Big government, high taxes, expansion of powers, and secularist society... notice I did say society, not government.
Progressive healthcare (paid for with increased taxes), oftentimes redistribution of wealth, progressive environmental policies (a great idea to support.) A weakened military, and anti-defense policies. Also, the handing over of national sovereignty to the UN.

I want to see my country return to the goals and ambitions set forth by the founders of this nation and the framers of the Constitution.
Seems like lately, the powers that be are more concerned with hiring lawyers to find ways AROUND the Constitution, instead of hiring lawyers to make sure they are FOLLOWING it.
The Constitution IS America. The instant we abandon it - America is gone.
Republicans see "national security" as our ability to blow things up - and periodically and randomly demonstrate that ability. (e.g. Iraq)
I like Teddy Roosevelt's approach - "Speak softly and carry a big stick".
We HAVE the big stick - and the rest of the world knows it. So why use it?

main goals... making sure everyone has equal opportunity for success... which includes good educational opportunities, fair workplaces and more...
also making sure that those who are down, get help to get back up...
basically in the end... it's making sure every American has every opportunity to live and experience the American dream and realize his/her potential...
and making sure that the tenants that the country was founded on (freedoms and rights) are preserved and upheld... these rights are the very foundation of our equality and opportunity...
that's a really basic glossy overview... there many other details..

For every American to have a nice life, regardless of race
religion or economic background.
When I saw a father collecting coffee creamers to mix with
water to make a bottle for his baby, I knew something had
gone awry in my country.

I don't like the party but people that have been high jacked into their way of thinking should be able to here from people that do not agree with the Democrats.. It sounds like you want to stifle the freedom of speech what we have fought wars to protect...
