Some of you just are so intolerable that you cannot even accept an answer, although mine was not that bad. So what, I'm down 12 points, but at least my mind is clear.

So, whoever reported me for writing - "What a dumb question. Go get your daily dose of communist network news (CNN) and you'll feel better. Yahoo said I insulted other participants.

Awww, poor pansies can dish is out but they can't handle a simple comment such as this above? What's wrong with you intolerable dems?

I have been insulted as well as others, why can't some of you seem to be a little bit more responsible.

The question was - "If welfare checks are the average bush supporter's bread, then is FOX News their circuses?" Ummm, is that not offensive to others like me? Sure, but I'm mature enough to deal with it.

Oh, just for the record, I'm only exposing the intolerable folks out there.

I can understand that Mexicans should stay in Mexico; but if in Mexico they don't find enough to support their families, instead of turning into a modern Germany W/ the Berlin Wall, shouldn't there be SOMEONE looking for a way to help these people?

Why?

Given that they ahve been (they are "the" responsable of) killing people, why they are not supposed to be judged to death penalty?

"Because they're in the 'good' side". Which one is the good one?

The one which lies in order to get oil almost for free? In order to stablish a liberal government in the Middle East to extract its richness, feeding the USA and Europeans financial coorporations?

The one which makes war in the name of "our Lord, God"?

The one which lies during the electoral time, as shown already?

Why, I repeat, why p. Tony Blair and G. W. Bush should not be judged as well as was S. Hussein?

Have a good time!

than have the US military have to go in & clean up another Israeli problem (like Iraq)? Israel wouldn't have to worry about: any Israeli troops getting killed or not destroying the whole Iran nuke program in one shot. They'd scare the entire Muslim world to death so much that nobody would ever bother Israel again & that would mean the US would stop having to be the de facto Israeli military. Israel would be secure for generations & the US would stop having to worry about Israel's security. Wouldn't that be great?

WHY I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER !!!

The Democrats new promise is: "A New Direction For America"

The stock market is at a new all-time high and America's 401K's are back.
A new direction from there means, what?

Unemployment is at 25 year lows.
A new direction from there means, what?

Oil prices are plummeting.
A new direction from there means, what?

Taxes are at 20 year lows.
A new direction from there means, what?

Federal tax revenues are at all-time highs.
A new direction from there means, what?

The Federal deficit is down almost 50%, just as predicted over last year.
A new direction from there means. what?

Home valuations are up 200% over the past 3.5 years.
A new direction from there means, what?

.
Inflation is in check, hovering at 20 year lows.
A new direction from there means, what?

Not a single terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11/01.
A new direction from there means, what?

Osama bin Laden is living under a rock in a dark cave, having not surfaced in years, if he's alive at all, while 95% of Al Queda's top dogs are either dead or in custody, cooperating with US Intel.
A new direction from there means, what?

Several major terrorist attacks already thwarted by US and British Intel, including the recent planned attack involving 10 Jumbo Jets being exploded in mid-air over major US cities in order to celebrate the anniversary of the 9/11/01 attacks.
A new direction from there means, what?

Just as President Bush foretold us on a number of occasions, Iraq was to be made "ground zero" for the war on terrorism -- and just as President Bush said they would, terrorist cells from all over the region are arriving from the shadows of their hiding places and flooding into Iraq in order to get their faces blown off by US Marines rather than boarding planes and heading to the United States to wage war on us here.
A new direction from there means, what?

Now let me see, do I have this right? I can expect:

The economy to go South

Illegals to go North

Taxes to go Up

Employment to go Down

Terrorism to come In

Tax breaks to go Out

Social Security to go Away

Health Care to go the same way gas prices have gone

But what the hell!

I can gain comfort by knowing that Nancy P, Hillary C, John K, Edward K, Howard D, Harry R and Obama have worked hard to create a comprehensive National Security Plan, Health Care Plan, Immigration Reform Plan, Gay Rights Plan, Same Sex Marriage Plan, Abortion On Demand Plan, Tolerance of Everyone and Everything Plan, How to Return all Troops to the U.S. in The Next Six Months Plan, A Get Tough Plan, adapted from the French Plan by the same name and a How Everyone Can Become as Wealthy as We Are Plan.

I forgot the No More Katrina Storm Plan.

Now I know why I feel good after the elections. I am going to be able to sleep so much better at nights knowing these dedicated politicians are thinking of me and my welfare.

Since I cant answer my own question in the comment area -
1. Get out of IRAQ
2. Bust up the Oil Monoplies
3. Raise Minimun Wage to ABOVE the Poverty line.
4. Federal govt creating incentives for Renewable engeries and alternate forms of transportation.
5. Only contributions to ANY elected offical would be via your taxes and limited to $5 per family member. (think about it - thats $1.5 Trillion to be divided among all races from local to federal elections)
6. Remove cap on FICA taxes so all wage earner contribute - FICA tax is SOCIAL security.
7. Term limits on all forms of elected officals to no more then 3 consecutive terms in any office. For the people and by the people - Civil service is a duty, NOT a career.
8. Make CEO pay/bonus/retirement connected to employee wages/increase and to be voted on by shareholders. As well as same as benefits. If a company can afford a 10% raise in CEO wages - then it can afford 10% to its workforce.

Darn - and I am just getting started

I'm in California, and you need to be 16 to get a license here. I'm not sure if all states follow that also, or not. I personally think that the driving age should be changed to 18. Admit it people...when you're in high school, all you think about is getting your license so you can go out with your friends, turn up the music, and drive around. Kids really are not as mature as they think they are at that age. And for me, safety is much more important than "looking cool". By the time people are 18, they have gotten over the whole driving thing, and typically mkae better decisions. This is not to say that college students and others don't drive drunk, etc. Besides, high school students don't NEED to drive. Their parents drive them to school and back home, or they get a ride from abnother parent, or walk or take the bus. I would fully support such a law to be placed in affect.

What do you think???

Am I being naive by trying to spread the word about the genocide in Darfur? People say that there is nothing that can be done, but some people dont even know its happening. If I help spread the word then maybe more people with money will find out about the terrible things that are happening and donate a little to help keep the people who are in concentration camps protected and fed. Is that dumb? My friends think Im dumb.

Thousands still leave every day. All the money sent back isn't making much of an impact for we hear millions more will have to leave to have a better life. How many people from Mexico deserve a better life along with other countries whom also want a better life shouldn't there be a set limit so all can have a better life ? Why is Mexico allowing smugglers to operate freely without worry of any law enforcement action?

took place in the early hours of the morning of December 3, 1984, in the heart of the city of Bhopal, India, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It was caused by the accidental release of 40 tonnes of methyl isocyanate (MIC) gas from a Union Carbide India, Limited pesticide plant owned by Union Carbide.

The BBC gives the death toll as nearly 3,000 people dead initially, and at least 15,000 from related illnesses since,[1], while Greenpeace cites 20,000 total deaths as its conservative estimate.[2]. Bhopal is frequently cited as the world's worst industrial disaster.
Beginning in 1991, the local authorities from Bhopal charged Warren Anderson, who had retired in 1986, with manslaughter, a crime that carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. Anderson has so far avoided an international arrest warrant and a US court summons. He was declared a fugitive from justice by the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Bhopal on February 1, 1992

And was it better living under this dictatorship than in some of the worst and most corrupt democracies (where poverty kills more people than a dictator would/could)?
I'd be interested to hear from people who've actually lived in a dictatorship.
The reason I ask is about 50% of Chileans speak highly of General Pinochet, as do quite a few spaniards of Franco, and not to mention all the lefties who love Castro.
There seem to be a lot of people in the US/UK who spout off things like 'freedom isn't free' in the comfort of their stable and prosperous democracy, when probably living under a dictatorship they'd be the last to stand up and fight against at.

Recently, there has been an emblodened spirit of anti-Americanism amongt some people in Academia, Entertainment and even the Media. You see all the anti-American war protests wherein celebrities lend their voices to the shrill shouts of hate. The Media fawningly covers these traitors as if they are credible people. And in the ivory halls of Academia, professors encourage, and even give extra credit for students to participate in these orgies of hatred.

Isn't it time to bring back the HUAC, in light of how successful it was in the past?

In 1947, the committee held nine days of hearings into alleged Communist propaganda in the Hollywood motion picture industry. After conviction on contempt of Congress charges for refusal to answer some questions posed by committee members, the "Hollywood Ten" were blacklisted by the industry. Eventually, more than 300 artists—including directors, radio commentators, actors and particularly screenwriters—were boycotted by the studios.
