than have the US military have to go in & clean up another Israeli problem (like Iraq)? Israel wouldn't have to worry about: any Israeli troops getting killed or not destroying the whole Iran nuke program in one shot. They'd scare the entire Muslim world to death so much that nobody would ever bother Israel again & that would mean the US would stop having to be the de facto Israeli military. Israel would be secure for generations & the US would stop having to worry about Israel's security. Wouldn't that be great?

I don't mean nuke the all the Iranian people, JUST the Iranian nuclear facilities. You ever heard of bunkerbuster nukes? US had them right now and the blow up underground.

You have some basic misunderstandings about the nature of the Iranian threat. Iran is a terrorist state that has proclaimed that it wishes to destroy Israel. Nuclear weapons would give them the opportunity to do so, heaven forfend.

If Israel does indeed have a nuclear capability, it will use it only as a last resort, after a first strike by some other power.

Iran is the biggest threat to the West today, and their military capability must be curbed by the West.

In addition, individual terrorists must be eliminated--if necessary by engaging them and killing them.

There can be no rational argument against this two-pronged approach.

If the USA does not conduct airstrikes against Iran's nuclear development programs, then you can put money on the probability that Israel will. They bombed Iraq's nuclear program in the 1980's and they would only need a mid-air refueler to attack Iran. If there is any attack on Iran there may be a possibility of Russia and/or China becoming involved.

Were all you people educated beyond the 9th grade?

Isreal had already bombed the Iran nukes sites years ago. When the sites were much easier targets. These sites are not so easy to get to anymore.

Please go read up on some history.

Israel won't nuke Iran because Israel would receive the fallout. (And yes, Israel does have a nuclear reactor, which is general knowledge and no secret. They built one, with France's help, right after WWII. By the 1960's it was fully operational. It is located in Dimona, in the Negev Desert).

Because they're not insane.

Geez. This is real life you're talking about, not some video game. Nuclear weapons tend to kill people in large numbers.

And as far as the part about frightening the Muslim world into submission, it didn't work for the Japanese when they bombed us, so why should it work for anyone else?
