Rommel was very popular. Even the generals of the Allied forces had a very high regard for him. Many books were written about him. But there were also brilliant German generals like Guderian, von Rundstedt, von Manstein, Heinrici. Yet very little were written about them, except for a few pages in many WW2 history books?.

As it is true, I personally do not approve of George W Bush. I did not vote for him, either. However, if GW had not been voted into office, John "Ketchup" Kerry would have been. We had to vote for the lesser of two evils. How else could we resolve this problem, when we have no option?

Will a secure and large wall be built on the border??
Will our government go after companies who hire illegals??
Will our government go after landlords who rent/sell to illegals?? Will all illegals in the US get deported; and will we have a way to track them to make sure that they do not reenter the US illegally again??
Will English become the official language of the US??

For Iraqis, a promise is in peril

By Masrour Barzani

Erbil, Iraq - The Iraq Study Group's recommendations will accomplish nothing in Iraq. Its expressions of "gratitude" to those of us Iraqis who fought on the battlefield for freedom and liberty ring hollow. The report ignores our accomplishments, dreams and sacrifices in favor of a concern for those whose ultimate goal is the destruction of democracy.

Our federal constitution, which the majority of the Iraqi people voted for, is treated flippantly, as though it were a negotiable document rather than the hard-fought result of lengthy negotiation among those willing to participate in the new Iraq. Further, the study group's approach is driven by the concerns of the countries in this region rather than by the concerns of the Iraqi people.

Many Iraqis, especially the Kurds, are justifiably concerned about this. No one from the study group visited Iraqi Kurdistan, which the group admits is safe and pro-American,

Arabs cannot be trusted with democracy they will corrupt and destroy the very word.

They have survived by the sword tribal wars and corruption for centuries our democratic beliefs lead us to force it on them.

Why Bother if we offer the same money for the oil they will still take it or sell it to the highest bidder.

Why Kill moor soldiers let the Arabs drown in their normal corruption.

Of all Hitler's henchmen, Martin Bormann was the most mysterious. Many historians claim that he is dead and many others claim that he is alive. Those who claimed that he is dead, didn't have any evidence of his body being ever found. He just simply disappeared and never heard of since leaving Hitler's bunker. Does anyone know where he really is?.

Reading the newspapers, it seems that the left is no longer in freedom to defend oneself or freedom of commerce. It seems the right has abandoned innocent until proven guilty and has embraced torture.
It seems like everyone is so scared, they'd rather have security than freedom. Like no one believes in all ten ammendments to the constitution anymore.
Is this true? Or is the press lying?

My personal opinion is the Battle of Britain.
The Germans wanted total air superiority before a ground invasion. The Luftwaffe was dealt a blow it never recovered from, which in turn, directly affected the blitzkrieg tactics in the USSR.

I'd very much appreciate no Gungho American 'We saved England's a**' comments.
I'm half-American btw.

Rush, Hannity, Beck, O'Rielly, etc are entertainers who are good at making money by marketing their own particular product. Good for them. The troublesome part of all this is that people actually take them seriously. What can be done to educate the public that these folks are only entertainers and should be viewed as such?
