With the polarization of the 2 political parties and the near split down the middle during the past 6 years of elections, is there a need for a party to site in the middle and look out for the majority of the citizens of our country. Communities buckle every time one person does not like something and calls the ACLU. Where are our political leaders when the majority speaks? Recently in MI the majority voted in favor of doing away with affirmative action plans and setting in place other opportunities for children of all schools to be evaluated against their peers of their school for selections to state universities. After the majority voted, a judge overturned it stating that it was unconstitutional. If it were unconstitutional, how did it make it to the ballet?

Apparently my position was HORRIBLY missunderstood before so lets try this again I'll leave no room for ambiguity. I am AGAINST nuclear proliferation.

Many people ask, "If the U.S. has nukes what right do they have to tell others they can't?"

You see how much conflict and killing there is in the world right now? Now imagine that EVERY conflict, just or not, has the potential to be a NUCLEAR conflict. This crap in Somalia? Nuclear. Turkey and the Kurds? Nuclear. Sri Lenka and the Tamil Tigers? Nuclear. Think of every conflict that happens not only on a yearly or monthly basis but DAILY becoming a stand off between nuclear armed rivals. Eventually someone WILL slip and a whole region will go up in a mushroom cloud with global consequences.

Years ago here in Wisconsin then Gov. Tommy Thompson started the new W2 propgram. Designed to help people get off of welware in this country. I just don't what happened to it. I know other states have aboptied similar programs. We are told that there are no jobs and the ones out there don't pay enough to get people off of welfare. Yet just yesterday I watched a news program on illegal immagrants in Colorado. Most working for Gould construction. They are making up-wards of $14.00 an hour. Bring home like $600.00 a week. I bring home like $435.00 a week. They say no americans want these jobs on one hand. Yet we hear daily about poverty in america. So my question is why can't all these welfare people who are able to work not forced in to work these jobs. Law braking immagriants and welfare porple have it made in this country. The sad part is the people who really need the help can't get it because of the color of their skin. When will the true real American be taken care of in this country.

Maybe its just me but whats the motive behind all the closed doors?Could it be its their intentions to create havoc and racial tension between the races and classes of ordinary people as to say, divide and conquer,to rule by rule of thumb,to control all of us?only God knows i guess. One more thing i wish to apologize to any and all for my questions and answers that may have offended anyone, but i still stand firm in my belief that illegal immigration must be brought under control before all this civil unrest gets out of hand and innocent blood is spilled even more than it already has been.got to go climb some trees now,God bless and happy new year.peace to you all, harley and edith.

Well, i saw all comments from my friends. Most of them hav heard wat Americans hav projected now. What USA wer doing that time? In that case how Mr. Bush shud b considered? He is sitting on graves of millions. He made this world on the edge of the sword as never before. & why he digs in Asia? For Oil fields? He projects that terrorism is the terror caused only to Americans & for that he can destroy anything, then pls note that it can b your country 2moro, bcoz it's run by similar politicians. Americans killed a lot of innocent Iraqi people, including children & women. Wasn't that unfair? Americans left behind Iraq to suffer like they r in the stone period. Struggle 4 food, medicine, education, work...everything. At least, Saddam served Iraq & they were able to get all basic needs. & if v tak about the politicians, can anyone guaranty about their own country's politicians. I think very few trusts their own politicians. I think Saddam shud not b hanged.

What a guy?
He said what had to be said.
Even this republican disagrees with the war. Sadly to little to late.

Do you agree with what Ford did at the end and do you agree with his comments?

If i had a gun and caught someone violating a poor innocent animal i would shoot that savage on the spot
Nothing is worse than Animal Rape!
why would an animal want some foreign species like a human violate .....What I think is that Any Human capable of something so savage should be shot on the spot.......Just imagine how traumatized the poor innocent animal is...
Should there be a death penalty for Bestiality(animal Rape) ?

Sometimes I feel like they only want war when it's to protect the interests of rich Americans and corporations. I think the whole "fighting to preserve freedom and liberate people" thing is all an excuse and that they don't really care.

We often send out cards, etc. and talk about universal peace. We wish all the best for our loved ones and we also wish for peace.
But every day we hear of wars, terror attacks and countries simply out to destroy each other.
When will this peace that we're looking and wishing for really fall upon our world?

In your opinion which would you prefer. Saddam being hanged, or keeping him locked up in prison for life.

Personally, I'd like him locked up in prison for the rest of his natural life. I think it would be more difficult for him. It wouldn't give the insurgents and baathists an excuse to increase the violence in iraq if we just kept him locked up until he died.
