how do you feel about such suits, when some are completely unnecessary and people like edwards are awarding thousands to millions of dollars worth of damage thus causeing doctors to go out of business lessening competition and forcing doctors to buy more liability insurance which results in raising medical and healthcare prices? are the magnitude of these suits right?

Remember the early sixties when the U,S, wanted Gary Powers a U2 spy plane pilot tried in a world court they boasted, that America had a 64%conviction Ratio in federal court, the states had a 46% conviction Ratio, since Rusia had a 92% conviction Ratio there no way anyone could get a fair trial in Russia,??? hummm today the U,S, has a 98.8% conviction ratio, we have more people in prison than any country in the world according to international human rights organization , even China or N,Korea
many of our prisoners are lifers for drugs or some other crime that was not a crime until the 60s, our law makers have passed 55.000 new laws since 1965, ??? why , our uninformed public is still demanding more sever sentences for every one, our people are like lambs compared to the people in the 50s and 60s and yet they want more and stiffer laws??? and the same people who yell the loudest are also yelling when they get arrested for some thing minute and get sent to prison for several years,

this one for instance a group in Maricopa County ,AZ. Community groups, state representatives and professors allege in the suit filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Phoenix that county officials are misusing the statute when they charge illegal immigrants with "conspiring to transport themselves" and violating the constitutional rights to due process and to bar unreasonable search and seizure.

The group also claimed the county's enforcement policy is "a scheme to control international borders."

They blame Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas and Sheriff Joe Arpaio specifically for using the policy "to garner media attention" and "further their political fortunes" by criticizing federal authorities' ability to control immigration. Arpaio said he had not yet seen the lawsuit but added that he was "going to continue enforcing the law and continue arresting illegals under this new law." The six immigrants represented

I got scammed over 3 years ago by an online scam artist that still try scamming good us citizens every day. I was selling my car to a guys client via classifieds online in my city. I spoke with the customer several times. Sent pics all that good stuff. He wanted the care for sure he said the way he is paying is a us cashiers check, me being young and dumb I said ok he said once I receive payment he will be picking up my vehicle. I then cashed the check paid off the car and contacted the customer and said come and get it . I was told he was unable to get the car for 2 weeks and needed some of the money back via western union. Soon enough the bank said the check was no good about 2 weeks after the money was gone. I was then pulled over out of state they arrested me on a warrant and told me alabama was coming to get me on a felony theft by deception in the 1st degree 7 days later they said I was too far to get. over 3 years later I was pulled over and told the warrant was there what to do

a.) can an officer order you to re-enlist?
b.) im on stop loss going to iraq, i will go to iraq in a stop loss status, but i wont reenlist because my MOS really sucks and has no incentives at all. My main beef is the crapy duty locations ive been in 8 years without a PCS over 2300 mi away from any relative or friend, my wife and I have been showing up to funerals it just isnt worth it anymore, now im leaving again for another 18mths, I wont comment on the strain the active/and reserves are under right now.
Anayways i have heard rumor that a junior officer who i do like and respect is saying that he will order me to re-enlist, i dont know how to tactfully tell him that 1), it wouldnt be necessary as im on stop loss anyways, and number 2 i dont think thats a legitimate order, i think he is thinking bodies in key positions and its a number thing, i am going on deployemnet, thats not the issue, why reup for indefintite, that makes no sense its an 18 mth tour anyways, lol!!

Or does anyone know of an attorney whose practice is in this area? I have a pending constitutional tort against NCC Police and have yet to find an attorney. A retired Judge friend of mine said that one can only prosecute in JP court as Pro Se, and he suggested going out of state for an attorney to get around the conflict of interest that I've found with most in-state attorneys I've spoke to. Though he didn't sit in on the bench in Superior Court and my reading of the Court rules disagrees with his statement. I could represent myself, though counsel would probably be preferred for their procedural experience and due to the fact that the case is essentially against the state.

Found out my older sister is sleeping with my husband of 35 yrs. She was living with me ,after death of her husband. She brought gun into house and was drugging me so they could be together. Told people I'm an addict (lie). When conforted about everything I was arrested, they said I threatened to kill them,( I didn't), I was the one beat up. When I'm at my house in another state she is at my house in AZ. using it as her own. I am still married to my husband, not in the sexual sense, (alot of assets to divide). She works for the Sheriffs Dept. when I come into town she tells them lies and they think I am the bad guy.She has told me if I cause her any trouble she can get away with anything now. Thing is, alot of weird stuff is happening to her and she is blaming me, but its not me. I think she is doing this stuff to frame me. How do I protect myself, since she works for the Sheriff and they believe her. She is a fantastic actress. She is capable of anything. I went to Auth. made it worse

During the Crusades, there was a influx of Middle Eastern Jews into Europe because they saw tremendous business opporttunity. Muslims and Christians were fighting eachother and left the Jews alone. Jews were the only group who had the safety to set up trade routes between Europe and the Middle East. The trading outposts became towns and the Jews raised generation after generation in these towns.

If they left their beloved homeland of their own volition, what right do they have to want it back?

I have been noticing a trend that if a person answers with a Liberal tone or feeling the answer usually has more thumbs down feedbacks. And the conservative side more people tend to agree and therefore more thumbs up.
Which goes to show you that it may not be as scientific as on would think the trend is that just like our country , there are more conservitave thinking than liberal thinking.

Francis Bellamy, the author of the original pledge (which did not include 'Under God') was a registered Christian Socialist. Then the 'Under God' part was added by the McCarthy crusades in the 1950s.

So we have a pledge, written by a socialist and amended by a fascist. Why bother with it?

I personally know some people who had botched plastic surgery and none of them can sue their surgeons (not famous - just normal people). No lawyer will take the case. So, then I think - well look at Hollywood... Michael Jackson is an extreme case who probably wanted to look the way he does, but I am sure meg ryan, did not. Tara reid openly talks about her botched breast aug, yet she never sued her first doctor. I can't help but think - why aren't they suing over whatever they did to her... NOR revealing the docs name?? and why is it so hard to sue a plastic surgeon? I know someone who had a big nose 10 yrs ago and went though 4 corrective operations just so she could breathe again after the first doctor destroyed her nose (he was never sued & the others who tried to fix it did their best in a bad situation). i know dozens of other people who had bad lipo, breast aug, etc... but the surgeon is like free to do whatever he wants unless the patient dies basically.
