Well, embargoes against Iran and N Korea, Saddam Hussein's hanging, More intense crisis in the middle east. Oil prices going further up. Better ties between US and India, China and India emerging more. A Big stock market crash, stronger ties in EU, ties between US and Russia might sour a bit.

A change in the balance of political power in the western countries of the world.

An improvement in the recognition of the causes and effects of climate change by mainstream laypersons.

A positive step toward improving comprehension by mainstream laypersons of what fast food is and what it does.

A relaxing of social guidelines and the implied taboo surrounding communication of the sexually explicit nature.

A relaxing of the tendancy of religious believers to impose their beliefs on mainstream laypersons.

An increase in the awareness of what poverty is, how many people are affected, and how easily it can be stopped.

An increase in the percentage of mainstream laypersons who appear content most of their average day.
