they need all the help they can get, even if it is made up.

People tend to agree with the conservative answers because there is room for change. When a liberal asks a questions they only want to hear the answer that they think is right.
In life everyone thinks a certain way, and then there are others are looking for the answer they want to hear.
The world is just split; just like in politics there are democrats, republics, and liberals.
The reason that they are generally by themselves because they have a split vote. They can steer either way. They could agree with the democrats todays, and the republicans tomorrow.
Here is a quote that I found online to help understand my belief in this question.
It sounds like people are getting their definition straight from a GOP talking points memo. As I said, liberalism also includes the notion that in the richest nation in the world, our government should be able to provide some basic safety net functions for the betterment of the nation. The other side of the political spectrum likes these benefits, as well as the other functions of gov't (military, infrastructure, etc.) but when it comes time to pay for it through taxes, they scream socialism. For that reason they love huge deficits, because actually paying for the services that they enjoy requires taxation, which they equate to socialism.

from what I've seen... and I've been on here and post quite a bit...
it seems to basically go in waves... up and down... for each party... often depending on time of day and how the question is worded...
so... it depends on when you're on... the questions that you look at and are interested in... and also partially just dumb luck...
I'm often shocked at the questions I get thumbs up and down for... sometimes many thumbs up/down....
sometimes I think "I'm going to get crushed by the thumbs down, but I still want to know an answer... and I really don't care who gives me a thumbs down..." and I don't hardly get any... or just the opposite...

it depends on the time of day, which due to time zones determines who tends to be on. For example most of the East coast is off right now, but it's only 9:30 on the west coast where the CA and OR people are.

I have noticed the same as you. However I do think it depends on what time of day you are on. For instance, I have a job, so I am mostly on at night. Get my point? I do think the conservatives are the "silent" majority. I don't think we as a group are as vocal or radical as the liberals, generally speaking.

i've got observed that lack of expertise is a virus on Yahoo solutions. Questions that i've got truthfully frolicked on and gave an smart answer to i'm getting a thumbs down for, whilst stupid human beings get thumbs up. i assume it somewhat is usa for you.

If yur observation was true, all it would indicate is that more conservatives are answering questions on the politics section of Yahoo Answers.
Maybe the Liberals are making love.

No. That conservative country thing is just propaganda. Our country is moderate, as many polls will show you.
I answer liberal most of the time and sometimes conservative honestly because that is how most normal people are. Who is completely liberal or conservative all the time?. You never know what you will get. It just depends on who is on when you are answering.

If true, it is perhaps due to the fact that the level 1 clones and trolls do not get to play the thumbs game.

How much per ounce for the grass you're smoking?
It's not like every user does the thumbs-up-or-down game on every question. There's no "scientific" basis to any of this, it's just a voting system to give feedback to users. Stop with the partisan mudslinging. You give conservatives a bad name.
