Well, i saw all comments from my friends. Most of them hav heard wat Americans hav projected now. What USA wer doing that time? In that case how Mr. Bush shud b considered? He is sitting on graves of millions. He made this world on the edge of the sword as never before. & why he digs in Asia? For Oil fields? He projects that terrorism is the terror caused only to Americans & for that he can destroy anything, then pls note that it can b your country 2moro, bcoz it's run by similar politicians. Americans killed a lot of innocent Iraqi people, including children & women. Wasn't that unfair? Americans left behind Iraq to suffer like they r in the stone period. Struggle 4 food, medicine, education, work...everything. At least, Saddam served Iraq & they were able to get all basic needs. & if v tak about the politicians, can anyone guaranty about their own country's politicians. I think very few trusts their own politicians. I think Saddam shud not b hanged.

I don't think George W. Bush will ever be considered one of America's greatest presidents. He didn't do a very good job of selecting his cabinet or making final decisions. But he did what he felt he had to do to protect innocent Americans on our own soil.
He never subjected his country to the genocide that Husain did. War, no matter when or where, subjects innocents to death. It's a fact of life. it's nothing new. How many British innocents were killed during the Nazi bombings? How many innocent Japanese died at Hiroshima? How many innocents died on 9/11 in New York City? This is a war against ideas and not countries. That makes it a very different war than anything the US has previously been involved in. It's also a war involving a people who give their "innocent children" Russian rifles to play with when they are old enough to walk. It is a war against a radical theology that openly calls for the "submission" (which includes murder) of any "infidels" who do not accept Allah.

Hussain supported terrorism. He was personally responsible for the murder of thousands of his own subjects, people he should have been caring for instead of eliminating. He deserves to die like the dog he is.

One last thing... Allah is dead, he has a grave.... Jesus Christ is alive and well. I'm proud to be an infidel. Allah can kiss my butt.

I consider execution to be a barbaric practice, that lowers the society that carries it out to (on average) the level of the criminal being executed.
I am not saying that Saddam is an angel, he isn't and he wasn't. But his trial went from something resembling a proper trial to being a political show trial. On that basis, I believe he should have a second trial.
There is also the likelihood that once he has been executed, his other crimes will be ignored, instead of investigated, and the facts revealed.
Yes, I do think the guy is guilty of a lot of killing and torture, and that he should pay for it by spending the rest of his life in gaol.
He should rot as a common criminal, growing old and feeble & senile in gaol. He should not be put in a position where others might mistake him for any sort of martyr, or political sacrifice.

Saddam is sentenced to hanging for the killings of 148 Shias in Dujail in the 1980's , it just make you wonder how some people can get away with murders for the cause of the death of 650,000 iraqis and they even claimed God is in their side . I must say God must be a *******.

I understand your frustration, but it is a fact that many of the people lived in fear of him. He murdered thousands, he hid surplus food from the people. And according to Dems. and Reps. he did have weapons of mass destruction at some time or another. He willfully and proudly, voiced his hatred for neighboring countries and USA. And you can't overlook the peoples happiness of the soldiers presence in Iraq. I noticed when the statues of Hussien were toppled, it was Iraqis tearing them down. A man that kills his own family members because they tend to disagree with him, is mentally sick. As far as Bush,,,,show me one leader in the world or president of the states, that hasn't made a mistake according to public opinion.

If you are in Iraq, run while screaming something about Allah and how you loved Saddam at the nearest coalition checkpoint and do the world a favor.

I'm sorry did you know that Saddam hired an assassin to kill Mr Bush Senior but that was years ago? Saddam did kill thousands of his own people. I think it would of been smarter to shoot him when we found him and Saddam was armed. He deserves to die! You're making us real hippies look bad

Is it millions now? Besides, I thought that it was the Islamofascist terrorists who were doing most of the murders of innocent Muslims (and others.)
