Well, i saw all comments from my friends. In that case how Mr. Bush should be considered? He made this world on the edge of the sword as never before. And why he always digs in Asia? For Oil fields? If he thinks that terrorism is the terror caused only to Americans and for that he can destroy anything, then please note that it can be your country tomorrow, because it is run by the same politicians. They also killed a lot of innocent Iraqi people, including children and women. Wasn't that unfair? Americans left behind Iraq to suffer like they are in the stone period. Struggle for food, medicine, education, work...everything. At least, Saddam served Iraq and they were able to get all basic needs. And if we talk about the politicians, can anyone guaranty about their own country's politicians. I think very few trusts their own politicians. I dont think Saddam should really be hanged.

all u guys support to hang him must know that if sadam has killed 100 people then bush is killing 1000 people every weeek because of his war game.
if u go through history u might notice that america once used iraq to fight against iran and supplied iraq wit wepons .
america once used taliban to fight against soviets and after the war the americans left the talibans to suffer .
if saddam has to be hanged then both senior and junior bush must be hanged

Too late he has been executed. Execution is a primitive form of punishment. But we must understand that Bush is too stupid to understand this. He cannot even remember what his spin doctors tell him to say. The execution of Husain is nothing but murder. Bush and Blair should be charged for murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. I am a lawyer by proffession. I cannot understand that the imperialist forces invaded Iraq for Weapons of Mass Destruction, but found none. How is it then possible to try Husain for other crimes, convict him and execute him. That is not only wrong but immoral. The American, British and Iraq soldiers and civilians killed by the bombs in Iraq is indicative of irreponsible conduct. More lives will be lost unnecessarily for Husain's execution. I'm an atheist, however Bush and Blair are not. But their actions show that they are not true believers. If they do believe in God they have just usurped Gods powers. Surely God would have dealt with Husain's actions appropriately. The thing is that Bush and Blair truly do not believe in God. It is purely a pretence. Why did the British and Americans not overthrow the South African Apartheid Government for the gross crimes against the Black majority. Why do they not step in and stop the genocide in Sri Lanka at present. Bush is an idiot and should be sent to prison solely on the basis that 3000 american lives were lost unnessarily in Iraq. Blair is a sellout in that he may be Prime Minister of Britain and won elections on a Labour Party ticket, but has sold the workers out in Britain. He is worst than Thatcher when it comes to workers rights. Both of them are so thick skinned that nothing can embarrass them. Can they sleep at night? Of course, they have no conscience. I must state that Husain was no angel and should have been tried for his crimes against the Iraqi civilians, but the death sentence is inappropriate. One of Husain's greatest crimes is the manner in which he killed animals when he was a teenager. He used to heat a iron rod until it was red hot and then plunge it into an animals stomach which would split the animal into half. I am an animal activist and cannot condone those actions. I have been a vegetarian for about fifteen years, but I must admit that I do miss meat at times, but I am principled and a moralist. I wear plastic shoes, plastic belt and carry a plastic wallet. I refuse to use any insecticides. I believe that every being on earth has a right to live freely and fairly.

It’s hardly a panacea for Iraq’s ills. Sadam learns nothing from this, as he’s now dead. I think there an undeniable disconnect between what's truly punishment or justice and what's basically an act of hollow retribution.
A life sentence in an Iraqi prison (complete with your friendly neighbourhood torturer) would have allowed Sadam to realize the folly of his bad deeds, whereas an execution (unless you believe in "the afterlife") serves no purpose except soothing the calls for vengeance.
In any case, for religious fanatics and their followers, execution serves nothing more than a reaffirmation and justification of their cause. Therefore, if the rumours are true that Sadam found God (during the months leading up to his trial and his subsequent execution), it’s fair to say that ultimately Sadam has had the last laugh.

Your supporting evidence is truly laughable. (please work on spelling and sentence structure if you expect to be taken seriously)
Did Saddam do what the Iraqi people needed when he slaughtered his own people? Invaded Kuwait? What about all the women and children he killed, in addition to those who were denied food from the Oil for Food program? What about the babies taken out of incubators in Kuwait?
Did you not see the Iraqi citizens who fled the country during his rein of terror celebrate? Perhaps you missed the Iraqi people living in exile in Michigan who were celebrating in the streets? Or perhaps you somehow missed that it was the Iraqi government who put Saddam on trial, convicted him and carried out his sentence? There was no interference's from the US.
No need to awake the White House the Americans are not the ones who have put him on trial it is the IRAQI people who tried, convicted and carried out his sentence. Do you even read the newspaper? If you were educated on the subject you would KNOW this.

Trust me there are 100's of people who have done worse than Saddam and they are sitting in a nice prison cell in Europe. It will not heal the Iraqi people if this man is executed. Man i cant stand Bush and how he keeps ******* up this world. I am sure U.S put some pressure on the courts on this case just like all the other issues in Iraq. Those who have the boots and guns have the power not some stupid puppet government run by washington. We should put Bush on trial when he is done for the deaths of 2500+ of our boys in Iraq for no reason.

First of all Saddam has gone through due process and been found guilty of mass murder by a jury of his peers and his appeal was considered and rejected. There are multiple charges which he could have been tried for other than this one which yes all include mass murder including the order to kill 180,000 Kurds. These reasons alone are more than enough to convict any human regardless of former political status to death.
Second of all this is a show of resolve by the people of Iraq that they can now deal with their own legal issues quickly and efficiently. This is an assertion of the freedom which we have helped them gain and it is a truly important landmark of how far they have come. If we were to intervene in this ruling by a court of Iraq and its people after having told these people you are free to make your own decisions we would destroy much of what we and they have accomplished together.

I think he is evil. And thus must be rid of this world. I do however pray that he has a spiritual enlightenment moment before he is done away with. And really, who am I or you or any American to say if he stays and lives or is executed? The Iraqi courts played their part. They made their choice and all we should do is respect that. Or you could just watch American Idol.

He has murdered countless innocents - so on the one hand he has suffered nothing in comparison to his victims and their families. He has caused untold grief to millions by subjecting the citizens of Iraq to a tyranny of fear of death or serious abuse for the duration as the ruler of Iraq and I suppose you feel that that is OK. However, for someone like this, death is too easy - I should prefer him to live for two reasons 1) He should suffer for the rest of a long life in the same way that he treated others and 2) So his executors do not lower themselves to his level.
Just you ask yourself that if it had been your family he had killed would you be quite so sympathetic?

No, he should have been SHOT right on the spot when he was found.
Saved us all the money of the trial.
I think he was treated better than he treated any of his captives.
This is a murderer and a tyrant that killed many Innocent people.
This should have been done many years ago on the original invasion.

Those are his people dealing with him with their own laws. He did a lot of bad things to a lot of them and they can handle it whatever way they want.
Most dictators end up being executed because putting him in prison would do no good; dictators can return, like Napoleon when he got banished from France. Death makes sure he doesn't come back. It also takes him to a Higher Court.
