Arabs cannot be trusted with democracy they will corrupt and destroy the very word.

They have survived by the sword tribal wars and corruption for centuries our democratic beliefs lead us to force it on them.

Why Bother if we offer the same money for the oil they will still take it or sell it to the highest bidder.

Why Kill moor soldiers let the Arabs drown in their normal corruption.

I do not believe your comment even a little bit. There are some dictators that happen to be in the Middle East , but, the Arab people like all other people want Freedom. There are dictators in other parts of the world that are not Arab that run their country the same way. The problem is not Arab, it is greed and power and absolute control over people. Democracy in what ever form that a country wants will always be harder to get than a dictator. Time is on Freedoms side.

Saying that is racist. Think about what corrupt might really mean. Im from Britain and I think a lot of western politics is corrupt. They think they have the right to rule the world with money and nuclear weapons.
Yes Arabian politics could suffer from corruptness, but if in the end democracy worked out it would be worth it.
Everyone has a right to choose what happens in their country. And thats whats democracy is about. So Arabs have a right to democracy.

Your sort of right in a way .Democracy can`t be forced or given .It evolves over centuries ,the same way it came to England
I don`t think it is anything to do with responsible or honourable ,there is plenty of coruption in democratic countries .Arab women are not interested in being freed ,they don`t see themselves as prisoners ,and would be the same in a democracy Some Muslim women in the UK want to wear the veil .they are in a democratic country but it`s how they choose to be
Forced Democracy can not ever be freedom .They should be left in peace, to live life in their own country the way they choose
The Chaos in Iraq goes to proove what comes from interfering in things we don`t understand
If the time comes when the people want democrocy they will stand up and fight for it themself in the same way people from other countries that are now democratic ,did in the past

There is really no such thing as 'Freedom' that people keep bleating on about here.

Freedom from ''WHAT'' exactly?

The ultimate concept of 'freedom' is that of 'Freedom from Control' by others and other forces. But that is nonsense as we are each subjected to control by the need to eat, drink, sleep and through the force of gravity.

Here in the UK or the US of A we are free ~ within the confines of the political boundaries we inhabit ~ within the confines of the planet we inhabit ...to say nothing of the Laws that limit us. To have it otherwise is I believe, what is known as 'Anarchy.'

In itself, anarchy is fine as long as you don't mind the chance that some bigger guy with a bigger stick (or worse) is likely to come along and want to separate you from your possessions, your family etc., and where you'll have no recourse of address other than to get yourself a BIGGER stick ~ if you can.

Arab mentality is simply 'different' from that of Westerners and is influenced by an awful long time of social influence and structures, and the land they live on and in, and which, for one reason or another, seems to really matter (as a contributing influence).

The Greeks say, 'If you make a deal with a Turk and shake hands on it, be very sure to count your fingers afterwards.' Ask an Egyptian, or a Saudi, a Syrian, Jordanian or a Yemeni what they think about any of the others, and you'll get a variety of answers - not un-similar to that of the Greek of the Turk (or the , the Scott to the English - Dane of a Swede, the Catholic of the Protestant - or any other division in any religion).

Morality, ones personal 'morality,' is very often localised and terribly, terribly, subjective ~ and likely, quite flexible too.

Sash.

Just like other races some Arabs are honest, responsible and honourable, AND some are not.

Soem are worthy of trust AND soem are not.

The problem is that many in the west, and especailly the US have little common ground with the Arabs.. they glibly support Israel, they see treachery when the Arabs acting in their interest do something that hurts Israel.. but dont see the same treachery when Israel actd against US interest, in what it sees as its interest (as it has on numerous oocasions right fromt he strafing of the US intelligence ship in the 60's right up to the modern times.

The US & UK have created a cesspit in Iraq, one that will haunt all of us for the rest of our lives (and probably our descendants poissibly for hundreds of years).

We are creating a whole new group of Shi'ite fanatics backed with massive amounts of oil wealth and a hatred of the west
We have created a whole group of Sunni fanatics who are now dispossed they have lost their grip on wealth and power and they have the means and the knowledge to cause mayhem
We have empowered the Kurds in the North to form their own state within a state in a way that may lead to destablising Turkey, and encouraging Iran to invade.
In short we have in an unthinking un caring moment, apart form the US need to see some towlehead getting bombed to the darkages (afghanistan wasn't gory / photgenic enough), to appease the hurt that the US felt, and the need for revenge when eventually terrorism hit the states, having glibly supported terrorist for many many years.... terrorism came to the states and suddenlyit was deemd by the US poiticians and public as a problem.

The real issue is that for democracy to succeed and take root you need well educated, thinking people. being told to what to do or think is not a good precursor for demoicracy. why do you think the first people driven out or killed are the intellectuals (it happened in Germany in the 30's, in Iran int he 80's, its happening right now in Iraq)
it requires enquiring minds, it requires a belief in equality and justice. Above all it requires the poepl themselves to own democracy. it cannot be just given, it has to be earned.

I'm having a hard time understanding what the hell you're saying but I think I got the jist.

First off you're a racist and I probably shouldn't be wasting my breath but oh well.

What the U.S. is trying to do is bring democracy to a people that have never known it. It's been a fairly foreign concept and you have to expect some slips. That doesn't mean you give up. It took Western countries Centuries to get it right.

Twenty two different Arab countries, and who can you trust?

Getting involved with their affairs is deadly.

Democracy DOESN'T produce honorable people.

The world is going through changes and the end result will be corporations ruling the world where governments once did.

Corporations don't produce honorable people.

If you want honorable people, look toward your own family for role models, for this is where honor should begin.

Judging how many of the families now look, it's no wonder the word HONORABLE(HONOURABLE) is not in usage.

How they are surviving now, when they don't have sward and anything like army with them.

You will see when oil/gasoline resources would have run out, all Arab countries will have democracy there.

Democracy needs a strong army back up otherwise you will spoil everything.

If you don't want let them to have strong army, with firm control on oil resources, the kingdoms are the best option there.

as an arab, I can tell u that you'r so out of it. I guess u must be the wasp type, cose I recognize in the terms u used in describing my people the hatred ur people carry against us.

For the last time, litte porky, if my people are in a so bad situation, it's because of you (yes, dumb a**es like u) and people who look like u in europe and in USA who made dumb leaders (for instance, ur lovely dubya and his little doggy tony blair). and this started since 19th century with imperialism (just read a history book from time to time, it doesn't harm, I swear).
so, if we cannot stand u people, it's because of this and also cose u insist on interfering in our business. so, if u could play away from us, that would be such a relief for us and the entire world.
I have also 2 other words for u: oil and petrodollars. ask dubya, dickie and donald abt this.

read read read!!! it's not hard to open a book, it might be enriching if u try to, ignorant guy.

The premise of your question insinuates that Arabs are not honorable or responsible. That is a racist opinion that you espoused, you see why we might think you are a racist now? If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck...
As an American, I gotta tell you, our democracy still works, regardless of our abundance of irresponsible voters and dishonorable politicians.
