Well Saddam would have been 70 in April 2007, then the death penalty would not apply to him. Thus was the reason for his appeal and also the reason for his speedy execution. What do people think about it?

If you answer, I don't want to hear your whining about President Bush! Come up with a real answer or not at all.

With the exception of people who have retired, are genuinely disabled, ( or care for someone who is disabled), people who are permanently unemployed contribute nothing to the nation, why then should they be able to take part in elections?

It happens.

Conservatives defect to "the dark side" of their enemy, and vice versa. The only ones who don't evolve are the ones who stop thinking altogether and are subsumed by the numbing drudgery of making a living and meeting the bills and raising a large family.

Every older person I have known, my parents generation, wound up at a point nearly 180 the opposite of where they began. So-called "Roosevelt Democrats" became "Nixon men" in the face of war protests and aggressive civil rights legislation like affirmative action.

And the good boys and girls of Nixon men, who grew up believing the G.O.P. was the party of "the good old days" and morality and niceness of their parents realized how wrong they had been (during the steep decline of the Middle Class and factory jobs during the Reagan years) and became progressives.

Something for you to ponder, as you rant here with the 100% unshakable conviction of a person who has not had enough life to look at things from both sides, yet.

to solve or close the case, mishandle the investigation, left too many unanswered questions, over looked evidence, and generally were inept in the investigation? Yes I have seen lose change, fairheight 911, and other documentries, but as much as I disaprove of GWB, I don't think he had any foreknowledge of the attacks

If the Bulgarian government said we are going to send 500 000 troops to invade and occupy the UK their would be uproar and we would defend ourselves. Yet if 500 000 Bulgarians "migrate" here its ok and nothing is done about it.
