I think that a lot of Americans like their answers and solutions in the simplest form possible and they want them handed to them on a platter.
Bush may not be an "evil" man, but he is certainly appealing to that "down home" "simple minded" constituency.
I think that a lot of Americans fantasized that Bush was going to usher in some return to the 1950s morality, like the day of Leave it to Beaver.
His administration made a huge effort to appeal to the religious right, and as everyone has now seen, those folks were just taken for a ride to get their vote.
I believe that Bush's appeal with regard to terrorism is strikingly similar to the quote below:
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

I think Bush and his advisors are extremely smart. They managed to steal our right to vote for the president when the presidential elections were tampered. Did or did you not know that subliminal messages are now , as of several years ago, in effect. They could be putting anything into your head, thus, my reason for not watching it. They could kill you with your tv by inserting a powerfull emf carrier subfrequency along with your favorite soap! check it out, for all brainwashed msnbc gov fed drones>>download>>loosechange911.com/see G.W.E.N. /l.i.n.k.s./ect.... take care/they aint MoUsE

No.
I do think there is a dedicated group of anti-Americans that keep getting new accounts and trashing America on here. They are too stupid to know that Americans aren't as ignorant as they have been brainwashed to believe.

If he is as stupid as liberals say, how can he be so smart as to brainwash more than half the country (including all those Dem representatives of both houses who voted to fund the war)?

Bush is a cocaine addict, he can never recover. He comitted the worst human crimes and broke all international and US laws as well. If you ask him to change, he will make comittees and ask his cabinet, then comit more crimes. Satan gave up to him, as there is no match for Bush's treacherous blood thirst.
