Sure there are people out there who bash the soldiers, and that is their RIGHT as Americans. It's one of the things that makes this country great, just like you have every right to be upset at it and speak it out loud. I do support the troops, have volunteered time, money and items over the past couple of years to give a little piece of home and comfort to those who are so far away from home and loved ones.

But I do not support this war, the way it was started and the way it continues. And, yes I know people in the military or who are retired from the military. Some support the war and some don't.

#1 I do support our troops. I do not feel it is ok to "bash" them.
#2 I do support my country. I also oppose those things our government does that I believe is wrong. That is what a TRUE American does. We want our great country to always do the right thing.
#3 I do not like Pres. Bush but he is our current president & we should all respect him - not necessarily agree with everything he does.
#4 This is a real answer.

As an American soldier (on my wife's profile) I feel that people do bash American soldiers. Of course I don't think its OK for people to bash us but I don't get too mad. People are entitled to opinions and yes, I have my own, but I don't take it out on individual people. For example, I don't think religiously, homosexual people should be married but I don't take it our on the individual people. I write to my congressman, like you are supposed to do. I am just following the commands my senior leadership is sending down, protecting the freedoms that give my "bashers" the some right to bash me. No good deed goes un-punished. As far as the Iraq situations goes though, I agree with every step we have made. Look at North Korea, they sent 7 rockets to Japan, if the US wouldn't have taken charge and went to action after 9/11, that would have been us. Now that we have threatened sanctions, North Korea shut their mouths. You cant argue with results. We are having a tough time in the middle east not but can you imagine trying to fight the middle east and the far east at the same time? Try world war 3. And/or the end of the world.

It's not ok at all !!!!! They are just KIDS, and they are dying trying to do their duty.... Whether or not we believe the war is justified has NOTHING to do with the fact they are dying to try to preserve our way of life... And they are doing what they are ORDERED to do... I suppose it is a hard concept to understand if you have not been in the service. I appreciate what they are doing on our behalf, and they DESERVE our utmost respect. When at the VA hospital last time, I saw a young man..20-21... in a wheelchair with no legs...I had to duck into the bathroom and dry my eyes... Who could honestly critisize his sacrifice ??? And for the group of people who disrupt the funerals of these young people, our real-life HEROS, what the hell is your problem????? I can only hope I get to meet you idiots someday... I got a lot to say to you... Lets just hope that every soldier has a happy ending, and this is concluded as soon as possible so all the men and women can return home, where ever that may be...

I know that there are some people out there who do bash our deployed troops. These are people that are just looking for a reason to be angry at someone because anyone who is willing to think it out will realize that the troops, regardless of personal beliefs, political views, or sense of right and wrong, have NO choice. What they DO have is a piece of paper in their hands that reads: "You are ordered to ..." It's the contract that was signed with the U.S. Government.

Now, if you are actually asking why do people bash Bush and his administration's Iraq policy, which I think you are, the answer is simple. When people denounce the Iraq War, they are denouncing the policies that sent our troops there and they are denouncing the Bush Administration for creating those policies. People who denounce the war aren't bad-mouthing American troops, they are bad-mouthing the illegal and immoral reasons for which OUR troops have been endangered. "Support Our Troops" means just that, it doesn't have to mean "Support Bush's War".
Staunch republicans, the Bush Administration, and conservatives like to shout expressions like "GO USA" and "Support your country or leave!" Words mixed together that make it appear that if you don't support the President or the war in Iraq, that you don't support American values, that you don't support our troops. This is done to make the weak-minded, who aren't willing to think things out, comply with the fact-less rhetoric. Instead of shouting "America, love it or leave it!" people should be shouting, "America, love it enough to acknowledge what's wrong with it, and fix it!"
I am one of OUR troops. I have been a soldier for over 20 years. I'm proud of my service and I have been to Iraq. I appreciate the support of the American public. Both the people who don't support the war and want us home AND the people who support the war and wish us well.
It never fails to surprise me that pro-war "sentimenters" like to talk about how we're doing a good thing by bringing the freedoms we enjoy here in this country to Iraq, but when someone disagrees with them they tell essentially tell them that that kind of talk is anti-American. Flawed logic at it's best!

People bash the troops a lot of the time because of the media. They see one bad picture out of a thousand good ones and make judgement. They hear about 50 civilians dieing, never mind the millions that were saved by our troops. Basically it all amounts to ignorance on the issue. I mean do you really think these troops want to be away from there families putting their lives at risk daily for these people who could care less if they live or die?

I support the troops, they are doing what they are supposed to do.

Osama was just a scapegoat. The US government planned and executed 9/11 to get to war with Iraq and get Saddam. Its just one part of their plan for total global control. Think it's bullshit? Why do you think we have the UN, and why are credit cards used by almost every American, and they are trying to implant us with microchips? For our convienience? They make it sound that way, but really it's so they can track us and have control of our lives. Of course they will make it sound good. "If you get lost or kidnapped we can find you! You won't lose your money or be robbed if your money is implanted in you!"

There is an actual Declassified FBI document from the 60s that had a plan to kill inoccent Americans as an excuse to go to war with Cuba. Well they did it with 9/11. There was a mock terrorism drill scheduled for the same day and time that the actual event happened. Osama Bin Laden was in a hospital, and according to doctors, he was visited by 2 CIA agents a few days before 9/11. Construction on the twin towers to "renovate" provided an easy way to plant bombs needed to bring the buildings down. Bushs brother Marvin had part in a company called Securacom that did security for the WTC, United Airlines, AND the Dulles Airport. Theres so many more things that Id be here for months writing them you'll have to find out for yourself.

Most of you won't beleive this, because you are too stupid to. You beleive everything your government tells you. Why? You see how other countries are to their people, what makes you think that your country can't lie to you? They are just nice people? Think about it. Stop watching FOX and stop letting them brainwash you. You may not care, but what about your children and grandchildren? Do it for them.

common answer: those people who criticize protection rigidity contributors are the two misinformed or in simple terms undeniable ignorant. many human beings have self assurance (incorrectly) that the protection rigidity is in simple terms a place for people who won't be able to get right into a good college. they do no longer see any clarification for a individual to connect the protection rigidity different than to get a job doing what they see as pee-on unskilled exertions. What they don't comprehend is protection rigidity contributors learn effective job skills, to no longer point out effective own progression skills like teamwork, self-discipline, and inventive issue fixing. If in basic terms they knew -- almost all of employers will hire somebody with a protection rigidity historic past over somebody without a protection rigidity historic past with the aid of fact they be attentive to the protection rigidity persons would be greater unswerving, greater inspired, greater committed, and frequently greater experienced than their civilian opposite numbers. the different side to the coin is the actual shown fact that human beings are frequently spoiled toddlers whilst it includes the belief of freedom. we've not fought an unquestionably "conflict" on U.S. soil in over a hundred years, so the closest human beings have come to seeing their own usa ravaged in the final century replaced into 9/11 -- and maximum human beings have already forgotten the teachings of that day. maximum human beings think of freedom in simple terms happens and that it incredibly is something they are entitled to. On that score they are thoroughly clueless. they don't be attentive to what share enemies the U.S. has that could extremely choose for to in basic terms fly/march in right here and take over. the only factor struggling with them is the main suitable prepared, maximum suitable geared up, and maximum suitable experienced struggling with rigidity in the worldwide. Too undesirable the protection rigidity won't be able to enable a much off places invader take over the U.S. for a pair of three hundred and sixty 5 days or so and then kick them out -- in line with possibility then our spoiled, conceited, narrow-minded hundreds could ultimately learn a factor or 2 approximately freedom...

I have never ever thought it was ok to bash the people who are brave enough to put on the uniform of the American forces and who give their lives for us.
