I recently opened an account for a relative who was going to do something for me for the money. Since we didn't open a joint account I at least had her sign a slip, so that if she didn't do me the favor, I could easily get the money out. All she did was sign it. Sure enough, she told me that she changed her mind and would not do me the favor. I told her 100 times the money is for the favor and she would not get anything if she didn't do it. That day, I went to the bank and withdrew my money from her account which I felt she wanted me to do. She called me up and said no I didn't want you to do that, I want the money and she said that she went to the bank and told them. What are my rights and what should I do? I don't feel that I did anything wrong. Should I go to the bank and explain or wait till they call me?

The premise I would argue would be that Rudolf Hess was kept alive after WW2 in a Berlin Jail till he died, the other argument is you do keep the moral high ground if you dont kill keeping the commandments it also shows strength and the capability of mercy which are important cultral graces that need tobe held up like a light of good conduct to neighbour and nation/s.

Th e link below is about an officer refusing to go to Iraq. What do you think about this? My husband is leaving for for his second tour in Iraq in a few months. He does not want to go but it is his duty. Do you think this guy is being a coward or do you believe what he is really saying?

I am taking a group of inner city Catholic 7th and 8th graders to DC for the Right to Life March. I got a letter from the Army yesterday saying we are scheduled for a wreath laying. There are no real guidelines, and I haven't been to DC since 1976.

The wreath can be natural or permanent, no size minimum or maximum. My propblem is we are on a very tight budget, we have been raising the money, because just MEAL money for some of these families will be a stretch. So I am going to ask some veterans from our parishes to sponsor the wreath for us, but I don't know 'how much' we should be spending, because I have never seen the ceremony.

Any help???

Thanks!

I have wanted to join the police in the uk for some time now. I have everything required to join, however my vision is not perfect. I wear contact lenses pritty much all the time. I was getting an eye test done the other day and the woman checked me in accordance with police regulations and said I would be unable to join. My vision is pritty cruddy really without lenses. I understand why they police do this, but its a bit annoying and a tad discriminatory. Is there any way around this, other than laser eye surgery??

between a prostitute and a porn star.

Each has "relations" for money. Yet on COPS, the prostitutes get arrested regularly while the "movie stars" do not.

Does that mean if a man wants to hire a "lady of the night" he should carry a video camera with him?

Does the adult film star have some sort of licence making her job legal?

A few days after I received a citation for speeding last month, the citing officer's corporal came by where I work and offered legal advice (such as ways to get out of the ticket, and what to say to the district attorney). I always thought this was against the law, but I can't find any specific details on the internet about it. I already reported both officers to their superiors for their misconduct, but it looks like they're not going to do anything about it. Do I have any legal precedent to have the case against me dismissed on the grounds that a sworn officer of the law attempted to give me legal advice?

The victim does not have a chance. Unless you are loaded with money and can afford the best lawyer in town, who by the way has the judge and the police in his pocket, you do not have a chance to win. I am a decent person and the law just keeps kicking me in the face. If I had the money this would not happen. Our government is corrupt, our judicial system is corrupt, where do we turn now. It is very upsetting.

All you ever hear about is how we shouldn't be in Iraq. Well at least Bush had the guts to do something unlike most of the pansies who preach we shouldn't be at war. How many other places in the world are getting bombed? Saddam deserved to die. So do all the terrorists. The more Bush goes after the better. The prostesters of Bush and the government are going after the wrong people. Why not bash the Terrorists because they are the ones who are insane!?!

There was a tragic accident on the 101 in Santa Barbara involving a flatbed truck carrying 2 bundles of rebarb in which my 23 year old niece was killed. It happened before 6:00 a.m. so it was still dark. There were no witnesses so we'll never really know what happened but I'd like to find out the laws on how far the rebarb can be hanging over and the lighting needed when its dark. thank you.

How do you justify a statement like that? Wouldn't that make you a traitor to your own people and government? Bush was elected twice,in 08 he can no longer hold the office,he has not rounded up those who voted against him,he has not killed his political opponents.Your statement is not rational.
