deal with it now, and why should you have to go through it all over again - you did the trial and the magistrate determined the amount owing, so you should just go to the appropriate law enforcers and keep pushing till you get your money.

Since you use the term "solicitor" instead of attorney or lawyer, I am assuming you are from the UK. Was the award in the UK or the US?
If in the US, getting a judgement against someone who owes you money is fairly easy. Collecting on that judgment is NOT so easy. Depending on the State in which you won the case, it could take years and/or you may never see it. I personally was awarded a Judgement against a former employee for over $3,000. that was the easy part. I then had to hire an attorney who for 1/3 would try to collect. This was 5 years ago and as of this writing have seen maybe $200.00. I hope you have better luck, but don't go running to the mailbox everyday looking for check.

Ask your solicitor on what you should do first, however, if it was me and my solicitor, i would of started claims again by now.

Goodluck with it all x
ps. claim for more this time as they have f*ked up and not paid you. Compensation say!!

Don't hang around. Normally once people are threatened by bailiffs (for whose charges they will be liable!) they will be only too anxious to pay up.
