If you're not allowed to use your guns to attack corrupt government officials?

I was on Bastanchury road (after making a right turn at St. College road) when going home from Brea mall, and there was a speed meter that shows how fast you're going. I saw it many times before, but thought it was there so police officers can catch people speeding from far away. The speed limit is 50 I belive over there and the meter read 57 (it was a hill going down and I wasn't even accelerating and although I could've braked, I didn't) when I went past it and I THINK I saw a FLASH. There is a speed meter at another street and cars always go over the speed limit there, but the meter never takes pictures, so I'm not sure if I've imagined a flash on Bastanchury or if there really was a flash. I had no idea that there is such a thing as a photo radar that takes pictures of speeding cars. Should I be worried? How much would the fine be? Would I have to go sit in a classroom on my first speed ticket? How long will it take for them to mail the ticket to me?

I Just want to say...

I am proud to be an American Citizen. This is the greatest country on the face of the Earth. I am going to go to bed and sleep soundly knowing we have an incredible military watching over our borders and knowing I have nothing to worry about...

GOD BLESS THE USA AND THE US MILITARY!!!

I am wondering if people must still swear upon a bible when they are admitted in court as a witness.

Further to this question, must they say something like "swear to tell the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth"... so help them "God." like on Perry Mason? If not, what does one have to say?

If one must swear on the bible, and/or swear an oath that includes God, then what about atheists or agnostics? For atheists, isn't it kind of pointless (or even in violation of their 1st amendment rights) to try to have/force them to swear an oath on a book, and/or with words, that they don't believe in?

Yes, I realize that, assuming an oath is still taken about telling the truth, breaking their oath by lying would essentially still be committing perjury (lying)... I'm not looking for a way around telling the truth in court; I'm simply wondering what our court system requires, and if that's a Christian or even generic "God"-based system why we still do that in our courts...

I'm not American but you don't need to be to understand the United States Constitution. It does not say that the general population have a right to keep and bear arms but for a militia.

Do you think the governments are scared of the electric motor(engine) as when oil is needed only to grease a bearing is the time the governments loses trillions in revenue and the electric car companys need more funding to free the people of the burden of paying for a pollution that causes sickness to all living things .What are your views?.One dollar donated to research for the electric motor (engine) could see an electric engine that could be placed in the family car at low cost.?

I am a little confused. I was in the Marine Corps for 4 years, I spent 2 years over seas but not at a time of war. I understand war is scary, I understand people die from both sides.

What I cannot comprehend is the winy people out there (like this guy in the army) who protest sending troops to war.

When you join the military are you not committing yourself to serve your country at any cost? Are you not signing up for any war, any place, any time?

These people take advantage of all the benefits the military has to offer but when it comes time to do their job, they wine and complain.

And then we have the protesters who have obviously forgotten what happened on 9/11. These countries ALL harbor terrorists. With the exception of Israel, they would love to see the US fall.

I am sorry to see any of our men and women die in action, but what these people dont realize is that these men and women loved what they were doing. AND THEY SIGNED UP TO DO IT...
