I agree with you Mr. Taylor, Bush should be impeached because people of his calibre have really degraded this country in more ways than one. First, the Katrina victims. Secondly, being that I'm a former military soldier, we have been misused for a very long time. There are soldiers dying because of his ignorance. Last, he can't even bring forth a valid explanation to what this war is all about.

The House of Representatives has the authority to impeach Bush with a simple majority. As everyone should have learned about 8 years ago, when the House "impeaches" that is the approximate equivalent of an indictment -- it is merely a charge, an accusation, that the person has done something wrong and it warrants a trial. The Senate must then hold a trial to determine whether or not there is proof of wrongdoing that warrants being removed from office and that requires a 2/3s vote in the Senate to actually remove from office.

Being a "tyrant" is not an impeachable offense. You can do better than call Bush a tyrant.

Absolutley they have the right and the ability. And it should be their duty to do so if they have facts that show he has broken impeachable laws. But sorry just because you think he is a tyrant doesn't mean he should be impeached. I'm sure glad you are not running congress. lol I bet you want to impeach your dad when he dosen't let you stay up late to watch tv on schoolnights huh?

Yes, it is called 'checks and balances'. You may have slept through that in junior high school, but it's true. What is not true is that Bush will be impeached because you think he's a tyrant. What you probably mean, more accurately, is that you do not agree with his policies. I may not agree with liberals, but I still recognize their validity. People who want to change control because they do not believe in a position are called TERRORISTS. Otherwise, you should vote (that's also in the constitution).

Whether he should or not is an issue for congress to decide, but from the Constitution Congress has both the ability and the right to impeach a president.

Just because you think he's a tyrant doesn't mean he's done anything impeachable.

Congress has the means to impeach, but only with belief that laws had been violated.

If the evidence is strong, the Congress can impeach Bush when allowed under the Constitution.

You have to remember that congress can and congress will but when over 60% of the population is for bush the congress members will want to stay in their postion so they are not gonna go against 60% of the US besides just think of how bad we would be if kerry would have withdrawn troops out of iraq saddam would still be alive and in power

till now 2004, i'd have suggested sure. yet at this factor, i think of the concern is the american public. we would desire to clever up. He started the conflict in Iraq till now 2004. In defiance of almost all the worldwide. Denied that worldwide warming exists, and persistently violated separation of church and state. no longer something he's performed in the final 3 years has been any worse than what he did over his first 4 years in workplace, it is actual purely persevering with what's been happening. And he grew to become into re-elected. on condition that he hasn't incredibly accomplished something that we did no longer re-choose him for, no, i do no longer think of it would be honest to question him. We knew what we've been in for, and we've been stupid sufficient to maintain him in workplace. we are going to would desire to experience it out for a pair of 12 months and a 0.5, and then attempt to restoration the wear...with a bit of luck. Kevin B - Are you insanely stupid? I agree that we are going to no longer impeach him, yet to spout that senseless "have you ever forgotten" bullshit...and do you reside in the 12 months 19-thirty f*cking 5?! understanding a pair of hurricane isn't comparable to making plans it. making plans it is not available...yet we do have this factor stated as doppler radar...you may understand approximately it in the past.
