I think the people who would object to the satement are some criminals and people whose lives have not been horribly affected by the actions of some criminals.

Some crimes do..... look at the bible and any other religous text it says that "thou shall not hurt thy parents or suffer the ultimate fate." or something like that. Rape, Murder, and things that are humanily wrong not just because society says they are wrong like embezzlement, fraud, and idenity theft

well you need to view it this way it was the muslim's most horrible punishment so hey why not give one of the worst leaders the worst punishment, a hanging but they couldnt do it in public cuz all of the Tailliban will come up with assult rifles kill everyone then take saddam back into power to poss yet a treat again, and as to posting it on the internet.... yep its the next best thing to a public hanging if you wanna talk more about it here is my email

Yep, it's true. Some people are cold hearted bastards that never learn their lessons. So let the crime fit the punishment...why keep these dangerous criminals in our society wasting away or on the hunt to hurt others. It's not fair to the innocent lives lost over some crazy bastard.

As for Saddam, he killed thousands without a blink or a flinch of hesitation. So thats what happened to him. Killed without a blink or flinch...as for his video....I think it's just posted as proof that he's really dead.

Yes, the punishment must fit the crime. Murderers should be put to death. In Saddams case the hanging video was a good thing. People need to know he is really dead. I think it would be worth looking into public executions. I feel it would detour would be offenders. I know you won't like my opinion but there it is!

some do deserve it but we are becoming so politically correct that most people on deathrow die from old age before being executed! I could care less about Saddam's video whether it be shown or not. I won't take the time to go see it will you? I think his people tried sentenced and hung him justly that's all I care about.

To me, people who rape, kill children, greedy and didn't know what right and wrong are those who deserve to die. They have no sampathy for human's rights. Saddam killed/ murder a few thousands of innocent ppl and he is only dying alone now. He is unable to repay the ppl who lost their love ones even he dies.

well...saddam did many mean things to americans and it was posted on the internet...such as the cutting off the heads of our people with dull knives... But...it pretty much does depend on what they do...but this is a common quote... "Payback Is A B*tch!!!"

Seen it and it's not worth seeing. Why not? People run rampant across the US for the guy to die but yet go against a public execution?
