I don't know about class warfare, but the revised definition of fascism troubles me.

You haven't studied much history have you. The middle class is not the normal way of society. It has always been the ruling class and the serfs. Think about it. Industrialization in the US allowed serfs to make enough money to actually become a "middle class". Before that, except after the Black Death in Europe, where labor demands were higher than labor resources, there never was a middle class. Why do you think so many crooked companies want to flood the US with cheap, illegal "slave" labor? The middle class is disappearing and an increasing rate. Democrats, Republican, Independent or "Green Party", it makes no difference. You're going to wake up in 10 years with almost no middle class in this country. Go pray to your Democratic (sic) government while you're out competing for a job that won't even begin to house or feed your family. Don't you see, big business is the aristocracy and everyone jumps to them. In Free Trade, they have found an almost inexhaustible supply of slave labor in India and China. We are less than 5% or the worlds population. Divide what you have up with 20 others (not family) and see how middle class you are.

No. It has not NOW begun, it has been going on for some time. The amazing part is that you think the Democrats are waging war on the middle class. You sir, are very gullible. The administration has been waging a most successful war on the middle class for 6 years now. That's why the vast majority of the tax cuts went to the top 1%. The middle class got shafted on that one and you sure can't blame that on the middle class. When I see people writing that this administration is the friend of the middle class and that the middle class needs to battle the Democrats it reminds me of that period in the 1860's when the rich Southern plantation owners conned the poor dirt farmers into fighting the Civil War for them.

Class warfare has been going on since... well, hell, since time began, under every economic and political system. In America, it's a quiet, soft war of capitalism. Capitalism is based on the concept of class warfare... the wealthy use their wealth to ensure that they stay wealthy. Since an economy is a zero sum equation, that means making sure that others do not become wealthy.

Don't fool yourself into believing that party affiliation makes any difference here. That's ignorant.

The war on the middle class has been going on for years but got really big with Reagan.

That is when a single middle class income became not enough to support a family in the middle class.

They cut taxes on the upper class and raised them, disguised as "saving Social Security", on everyone below an $80k salary.

Hardly. As long as the richest 1% have both parties bought and paid for, what happens in Washington has nothing to do with class warfare.
